Yes, the VKFX modules for instance, although these are now legacy... Breverb2 and Rematrix on the other hand aren't, even more useful would be some of their Gems. I wish for more Boz modules like T-Bone, Little Clipper, Gatey Watey and of course Pan Knob. And something to take over the somewhat limited Quad Curve when I'm starting running out of bands
-
This. I don't remember where I know about it but PC modules are normal VST's with a smaller GUI and only interface is different (ie. proprietary). They are not coming so there must be something else in the way, I think.

Which freebies (and near-freebies) encouraged you to buy a paid product?
chris.r replied to Starship Krupa's topic in Deals
Many free and paid Kontakt libraries made me buy (crossgrade) Kontakt full version. Does that count? -

THIS PLUGIN IS GIVING ME GAS - BUYER BEWARE! -
Of course I don't know for sure but if it's a plugin from '90-ties then my best guess is it has a bland sound but good coding... as opposite to today's competition

Man, 4 players would have make so much more sense.
-
link please...? I can only see "Download 4 free..." or "Free to use 4ever..."
-
But it's only 2 players. More like a trial without a time-limit.

I always believed it's the other way around. With lower prices he could get more money from bigger sales number.

Mac only. Also requires ilok dongle. Did I mention mac only?

Interesting. I just bought MWobbler and am wondering if this one has anything MWobbler hasn't...? (not counting brilliant selfexplanatory one-page GUI vs crypto menu-diving on melda...)

Yes, this driver is written by a rather well regarded brand (as opposite to Behringer) called Ploytec that stands behind the drivers for many other USB audio/midi interface producers. It's a proper ASIO driver not a wrapper, I'm using it with ART USB preamp/interface and it's easily on par with the most other popular choices out there.

acha, the code is for registering software at softube account when purchased from a dealer, then they will deposit the license in my ilok account = need to link the accounts either way thanks, looks like that's the only way they do it
-
I have long time iLok installed, I use machine registration. Central is no no, I hate managers. I also don't like linking accounts but I will link if it's the only way. Thanks
-
They want me to link their account with ilok whatever that means. That's new to me as I've been always given a redeem code and manually registering in my ilok account. No code with Softube? Or is it again something they push but I can't find a workaround.

I think now it's all about porting everything from 3rd party to his own engine.

I have the old kontakt version and the sound is remarkable, very fat as you'd wish it to be! But the price to upgrade is still too steep.
-
Thanks scook. In the Support section I also have read about direct installers.
-
That's a bummer/one more factor to take into consideration.
-
I must have missed it. Would definitely snag it at that price.
