I uninstalled with 'Add or remove programs' and it created a temp file and then deleted that file. That's it. The instrument stays on system disk. I'm not a programmer but I would have done it better then that ? EDIT: actually, instead, it tried to delete the 'uninstall' file from under the external path, which obviously is not there. What a bummer. EDIT 2: it would install to the external disk only when run as administrator. Without it, the installer has put the samples file into 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3' LOL... not really

On my system the InstrumentInstaller.exe didn't ask for any path for VST2 plugin and has put the plugin just straight into 'Program Files\Vstplugins' even though I don't use that path and didn't have such folder on disk. Then it asked for path for VST3 plugin - go figure out! I first tried with the small EP14 and in Sandboxie I pointed to external disk and it has installed fine there. Then I installed normally and it reported an error regarding that external folder and put the files on my system disk. If it was one of the huge instruments files I would be screwed. From the consumer point of view the development quality of the whole Roland Cloud is a resource hog and a mess full of small bugs. For example I updated Zenology to the latest and it locked almost 1GB on my disk after that. Why? Has put plugins in wrong places, no wonder less experienced people will have issues. I'm having huge doubts it's all worth it.

Just a word of caution. The current installer for 2016 Stereo Room v3.7.10 installs an old plugin v3.7.5. I reported and they are on it now. Will post back when the fix is live.

From my Arturia account: "You will be asked to define the destination folders on the first time." I assume it means that I can install my Augmented Strings Intro on my external disk? Is it the same installer for both, the Intro and full?

Still not perfect but at least a step in the right direction.

The one type of a guitar VI that I can't seem to find, probably no one made it yet or I'm still missing it, is one to make convincing flamenco/gypsy-type of strumming. I tried with Modern Nylon and while it's great for solo lines and some smooth strumming, I couldn't get it to sound good enough when I was trying for that gypsy style. No matter what I was trying, it always lacked some of the sound of a hand beating the strings so typical in this music. I have also Iliya Efimov Nylon Strum and it was close but again, still missing that noise bit in the sound. Hey Greg, maybe a hint for your next library .

Agree and agree. Since some time I'm already collecting plugins that I can use instead of IK stuff when producing or mixing. Like for example Tapeface or some PA guitar stuff, to get the sound close and save alot on CPU. Cause freezing every track is no fun. And keep the IK stuff as an 'elite' selection of plugs in case I want that particular flavour and can accept in turn paying with high CPU usage.

In some really old, pre Sonar, versions of Cakewalk I was able to interpolate from pitchwheel to any CC, and vice versa! That was so useful. Too bad that's no longer possible. EDIT: I just tried and it worked in controllers pane in PRV
