My roundtrip stays the same low no matter I'll Hoover the Excalibur over the Strat Strip or not (obviously all ITB)

For that you might want to check out this (whether it goes on sale during BF I don't know) wavelet-audio.com/ashen-scoring-cello/ and this little gem as well insanitysamples.com/products/cello-one-expressive-solo-cello

Thanks simon, I'm only looking to have just one of their libraries, and it's quite a recent one, the Gospel EZX and EBX. Obviously that would require buying the base EZ Drummer and EZ Bass version. I'm in no hurry so knowing when the cheapest price is most possible over the year would give me more comfort in making my wallet ready, these are not the cheapest purchases for me.

When it's best time to look for best prices on Toontrack's EZ Drums and EZ Basses in the year, Black Friday, Christmas or yet another time, like summer sale etc?

Plugin Boutique has recently made some changes to their payment policy.

I remember having exactly same problem a few years ago on a 32-bit 2ghz core 2 duo laptop with integrated intel GPU, Win7 and Sonar Platinum. My project was short but there was a massive amount of midi control change data in it, and once it crossed some weight the UI lag started to be apparent to the point I had to wait about 30sek after moving a single event for Sonar to accomplish it, making editing in PRV hopeless. I don't know if both our cases have same root but if yes then it may be hiding there deep for long time.

bug report Bugs I wish were fixed for Christmas
chris.r replied to Elena Kolpakova's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
the DAW plays Christmas music in the background ? and an extra bank of jingle bells samples for download -
It used to be like that, but since their website/accounts update not so much anymore, at least in my experience. There's still a discount there, just now freebies aren't part of it anymore and the discount is less if you bought some singles on sale.

Event List Insert Patch Changes Do Not Work

Oh yes! For event list even CC# filter, but also a sidebar track on/off for the track view (saw that in pro tools, so handy). -

Cryostasis by United Plugins --$19 for 4 more days on W. A. Production
chris.r replied to GTsongwriter's topic in Deals
Guess your right. On Plugin Boutique it's until 13th November. I assume on other places like Audio Deluxe etc, and of course on United Plugins too. I tried JRR Shop but the website didn't open here which is a bit worrying. -

? How Many Plugins Do You Presently Have Installed on Your Computer?
chris.r replied to PavlovsCat's topic in Deals
You can do that by creating a new plugin menu layout and include only a handful of them but still keep all the rest installed on disk! Hey, what's wrong with having more plugins on disk ? -

To the best of my knowledge, the DAW compatibility kit and the class compliant USB-MIDI driver are two separate things. Driver is needed for any host to see and use the keyboard. DAW compatibility kit turns the keyboard into a compatible control surface. Of the two, driver is necessary for the keyboard to work, DAW compatibility kit is optional. -

I think it's been already more than a year ago, when I started a fresh Windows install, and promised to myself this time only a reasonable and usable plugins will make it into my vst folder. So far I've been holding up just fine with only 1791 plugins currently. But I'm keeping at the back of my head that there are still these over 120 plugins from airwindows to be installed, so yeah. Bit more seriously, this is obviously both VST2 and VST3 together including a few bundles, plus DX and MFX, so that should make it a bit above a half of that realistically. Very seriously now, I think cakewalk is showing the VST3 count wrong, at least in my case. Many (most) of them installed here are counted twice, why? I tried to report that in the main forum but no one gave a sheet. I did some testing, there are many vst3 plugins on my system that will show up with a double-seat in the main count displayed by plugin scanner at the end of scan (789 plugins found, 2 new, 0 removed, 0 errors), if I take a single plugin away from folder, scanner will show less 2 (2 removed). This issue is only with vst3. -
yep, plugivery is a sort of a license repository for dontcrack

That looks like some driver installation error. I have Impakt GX and it's showing up with it's own name without me having to do anything as the driver is class compliant, just plug in and wait a couple seconds until Windows finishes setting up the driver. You might need an assistance from someone else, more inclined into this kind of errors, here. One more thing I'd try is plugging using a different USB cable into another USB port and see if it installs correctly. -

Try checking Inputs - MIDI1 and see if that works. -
