  1. Another deal information site
    https://www.kvraudio.com/deals.php
that page also has a link to the "The #KVRDeals & Giveaways Newsletter" where they email you notices about deals.

Most of your favorite plugin developers have newsletters that will notify you of deals in many cases before the deal sites post them.
Sign up to the various newsletters and you'll get 90%+ the same info that hit this deal forum.  What was nice about this forum was that the info was in one place and the discussions and tips about the deals.

  2. Not trying to speak ill of this deal or as they say piss on anyone's parade, just keep in mind

    • that all the plugins that come with "All Plugins" only run in FL Studio.
There are quite a few but you only get the 'native' versions, not VSTs which they no longer sell.
    • " Lifetime Free Updates" does not include any new plugins that may be developed in the future, only those that currently exist.
I don't recall what they charge for new synths or effects for existing "All Plugin" edition owners.  I think you get a discount but don't recall what it is.

Is everything added, in future, to FL Studio free?

Not everything - Sometimes we develop new synthesizers, effects or tools and add them to specific Editions. You'll notice, from the feature comparison page how these Editions have different core features and plugin bundles.

You will get your FL Studio Edition, and the plugins included at the time of purchase, updated free for the life of the product/s. Sometimes we will add new core features free to your FL Studio Edition (example). So there will always be something to look forward to with every release, no matter what FL Studio Edition you own.

I own the Signature edition and quite a number of their (now discontinued) VSTs.  Maybe I would feel differently about upgrading if FL Studio was my main DAW, but adding native plugins to my collection isn't worth $99 to me at the moment.

  3. Kazrog - all plugins updated!
    https://kazrog.com/

    Here's some of the updates.

    Airline V15 - Version History
    Version 1.0.2 - August 23, 2024

    • Window resizing: Airline V15 now allows smaller window sizes than before, for compatibility with lower resolution displays. Clicking on the Kazrog "K" logo resets the plugin window to its default size.
    • Ableton Live: Resolves bounce issues (slow render times, crashes) when using VST3 plugins. For now, this means that offline render will use the same settings as online render when using this plugin format in this host. We're in communication with Ableton regarding a more permanent solution.
    • macOS Standalone app: Standalone app now properly asks for microphone permissions in older macOS versions such as Catalina.

Kazrog True Iron - Version History
    Version 1.4.3 - August 23, 2024

    • Window resizing: Plugin now allows smaller window sizes than before, for compatibility with lower resolution displays.

    KClip - Version History
    Version 3.6.4 - August 23, 2024

    • Ableton Live: Resolves bounce issues (slow render times, crashes) when using VST3 plugins. For now, this means that offline render will use the same settings as online render when using this plugin format in this host. We're in communication with Ableton regarding a more permanent solution.
    • Logic Pro X: Resolves issue with buzzing noises when using multiband mode at low host buffer sizes.

Maybe worth noting that if you have the bx_masterdesk classic you can upgrade to bx_masterdesk Pro for $19.99 (if you have it as free or otherwise license in your account)

If you qualify for this ^^ upgrade you won't be able to mix Bx_masterdesk Pro into the $19.99 deal with other plugins because the built-in coupon conflicts, so just get the upgrade and save the BXISBACK-1999 coupon for different plugins.

Heads Up: In order to reset your pwd you might have to lie and say you forgot your pwd.  Oh well; you can't fight city hall marketing culture.  😜

That's standard procedure for almost any website that has upgraded their web system and requires you to create a new password to access your account.  It's so common that most sites don't feel they need to spend the time to explain it, though perhaps they should.

Today I got an email saying that my Synchroarts product activation has to be changed for future use (former iLok to online)! Is this legal?

I bought the product because it was iLok authorization! Regrettably, of late I bought an upgrade in the prospect that my iLok license gets upgraded! Then I found out that new versions are no more iLok. Asking the support how I can change the upgrade to iLok authorization I simply got no answer! What a sh.. company! I will never more make business with them and I recommend anyone to stay away from such companies!

In general I've noticed several activation changes with different brands in the last few years. The major problem is that the companies don't give transparent information what is valid! What kind of authorization, how many seats, is offline available, if there are different auths - which products does it apply to! On the internet you find a lot of old information and if the plugin producer does not have open information, where should you get it?

Many vendors protect their products with such methods from pirates, they say, but they themselves pirate the consumers IMHO! Shouldn't it be vice versa?

I didn't get such an email.

Their online manual says they made a change back in April 2024...
    https://www.synchroarts.com/manuals/VocAlignProjectV5/Manual/HTML/installation-and-authorization.html

    License Overview

    • You can obtain trial Licenses for any Synchro Arts product from www.SynchroArts.com or purchase perpetual (non-expiring) from Synchro Arts directly or its resellers.
    • Trial licenses will run the software fully-functional for the number of days stated in the information provided with the licence.
    • Each license includes 2 activations
    • All licenses will authorise both macOS and Windows versions

Please note: Previously the PACE iLok system was used to license Synchro Arts products but iLok was replaced with a new and easier system in April 2024.

If you already own Synchro Arts products that were activated before April 2024 with iLok and would like to download the latest builds, please create an account and login to the Synchro Arts website and connect your iLok account. This will add your products to your Synchro Arts website account and then you can follow the activation steps below.

But my SynchroArt plugins which upgraded in May still use iLok and are working.
I have not installed the latest updates, maybe they work differently.
