Probably until it becomes fashionable to dislike the place where you happen to live.

Someone I used to know once got upset with me after it had become apparent that his girlfriend had "entertained" more than one of his friends at various times when he wasn't around and I said that he would never have to worry about that happening with me. He wanted to know why not ? What's wrong with her ? Was I trying to say that she wasn't good enough for me ? There really is no pleasing some people.?

I heard that due to Warren's success, some other producers got together and tried to launch a rival site to PLAP. However, they struggled to get many people to sign up for Produce Like Other Pro's.

It's going marvellously well ?

Wow....that really is totally game changing, cutting edge stuff right there.... Oh wait..... I forgot that it isn't 2019.

Did you know The Matrix was stolen from Jules Vern's The Time Machine?

Why didn't he travel back in time to before it was stolen and hide it better ? -
If it isn't already, that should definitely be the collective noun for a group of google users.

Uh oh...... I've only got 334 days to spend my 89p or all those made up ratings will have been for nothing.

I'm happy to say that it most certainly wasn't.

Are you some kind of fear mongrel ?

Their sound was a bit ruff.

Oh they were original all right. I'd definitely give them that much. I think it's breeding might have been best described as mixed.

If that was your plan, then yes. Go you. You nailed it.

The band I was in seemed to have choosing a bad name down to a fine art. Iwas always outvoted and during my time we had at least 4 and the last one was the only one that I wasn't totally embarrassed to say out loud - The Sons of Katie Elder - which was nicked from a movie. Could have been worse I suppose - we did once share the bill with the delightfully descriptive.... Dead Pigs under the church floor. The lead singer was a dog. I kid you not.

Sorry to break it to you, but unfortunately just by thinking that you automatically made it uncool. Degrees of one's coolness can only be decided by other people. That's just the way it is.

If you want it just buy it. Forgiveness is always easier to obtain than permission. Plus she's probably snuck in a whole load of unnecessary cushions that you haven't noticed.

Nice feature for those that work that way.

I used to have one that I made for all the knobs on an analogue synth that I had. I used it to put colour coded marks for the correct settings for each song it was used on so that I could set it up between songs without having to press a key to find out if it was set up right. When I later got a digital synth where I could program the patch change sequence in advance and just use a footswitch to advance to the next one in the chain each time, it was much quicker and easier in the live setting, but part of me kind of missed the pressure of the frantic fiddling to be ready in time. Plus it made me look more like I knew what I was doing.?

I'm wouldn't call myself a fan, but I've never really understood why they always tend to get such a rough ride when there is so much more out there that is so much worse.

I got it when it was free, but it's still a nice thing to have at this price. I tried the demo at launch but felt that it wasn't worth the full asking price. It is a bit of a resource hog though, so my old wheezy PC doesn't allow me to use it much.

Back in my day "our" PA system and mixer was actually jointly owned by the guitarist and a guy he worked with who was the one who manned the mixer for live purposes and thus almost a sixth band member, although he had no musical input whatsoever, and he was paid an equal cut of whatever meagre sum we managed to get which usually amounted to whatever we could get from door receipts, minus keeping the guy who manned the door in beer all night. To offset the cost of buying it they would hire both the equipment and him out to other bands when we weren't using it. Sensible idea and it seemed to go well. People had many good things to say about the set up. Quite often though I quietly felt that our sound wasn't quite as good as it should have been all things considered, but figured that standing on a cramped "stage" usually quite near the drummer probably wasn't the best position from which to judge, so I said nothing. Then one time, after there had been a few gigs with multiple bands on, all of whom had played through "our" PA with "our" guy on the mixer, a regular attendee came up to me and asked how come we had the worst sound quality of all the bands when he was supposed to be our guy ? Later conversations with others went along the same lines, so it turned out to be an early lesson for me that being right about something could be a bad thing. I never did say anything because the people who said it were supposed to be his mates, so it seemed like going there would be opening a whole can of worms. Sometimes I felt that the others knew it too really, but didn't want to upset him seeing that as he didn't drink so didn't mind also being the driver.
