Doing the drums last had never occurred to me for years until one day I decided to revisit the drums on a particular track that I thought was otherwise ok. Now at least in terms of the music I always do the drums last and can't imagine why I ever thought doing it differently was a good idea. Then I hand it over to myself to never finish or sometimes even start the vocals.?

There's actually a plumber quite local to me called C.Hunt. The forever child in me has a little snigger every time I see his van.

I can't say. That's one of those things that only other people can decide. Plus, from my experience it seems that the thing about being a tool is that if you are a tool then you won't recognise that you are. It's similar to cool in that it's a description that only others can bestow upon you. If you think you are cool, then you're most certainly not. See also...self described "fun" people.

Yeah.....I know folks, some of them way more cleverer about music stuff than like what I am who consider MJK to be some kind of otherworldly genius. I can't say for sure that I've knowingly even heard anything by Tool, but somewhere I have A Perfect Circle album and also some Puscifer stuff, some of which I seem to remember quite liking parts of but seemingly not enough for me to remember what they are. I guess, and I suspect this might not be a popular opinion in these parts, but for me he's like an American Steven Wilson........musically smart people say he's brilliant, but I just don't get it. I've tried - I bought the first two Blackfield albums, but title track of the first one aside nothing ever really stuck in my mind. Maybe I'm just too stupid.

Not heard any missing beats, but what I did hear on the radio recently was a mystifying bit of censorship. I'm sure we're all familiar with the inserted silence instead of the "naughty" word that whoever sang in whatever song, but this one baffled me..... The song was by The Verve and according to this radio station the first line of the chorus is " The ......... don't work, they just make you worse". For those not familiar with the song, the missing word is drugs. Presumably this means that it's now a bad thing to say to someone that if you're feeling down then taking illegal recreational substances actually doesn't really help? FFS.

Begrudging is fundamentally flawed, if not serious, behaviour - rationalisation is definitely generally easier.

Hmmmm...... you could be onto something there..... He may have resisted this time, but if (just thinking aloud here....) a certain person from a certain company were to post a thread to suggest that they are looking into making all of their software completely free but only for people who have no paid products in their account I reckon he'd be back pretty sharpish.... Obviously it's not for me to say what company that might be, but I Know that you all do.

Well now that you mention it....... I have decided that I'm going to take a break from attention seeking because I'm fed up with all the attention and also the lack of it. I'm going to spend my time off making a series of videos on how not to seek attention and will post them on a day by day basis as soon as they are finished. Unfortunately none of you non attention payers will ever see them, but that is your loss. I don't need the attention of people who are not paying attention. I'm only interested in people who are paying attention and to those people I would like to say...........just leave me alone will you ?
