No I'm really not. I had no idea that paid radio was even a thing. I never listen to a radio at home and I don't even know how many stations the DAB radio in the car has, other than a lot, because I've never really bothered with it. If it's on then it's on the local one and when that gets tiresome ( like in the whole of December) then I just go with a random selection from the HD if I'm not in the mood for listening to an album.

Yeah, I do know how to change the size, but the larger option is too big for one screen so still a PITA, just in a different way. You do have to wonder who thought it was a good idea to make how to change it so unobvious though. Also, at least for me the browser is flaky. If I select a preset the sound changes ok, but the green highlight colour remains on the previous setting until I move the browser slider (or whatever you call the thing at the side that moves it up and down) then it highlights the now current one.

Having spent the last week or so failing to get answers to some really quite simple questions from their sales support I have to disagree there. They were quick enough in responding each time, but that's not a lot of use when they don't actually answer the question. Maybe tech support is better, IDK - never had to use that, but sales support......let's just say they're making NI look good this week.?

Yes, the buttons around the browser area are a bit small/fiddly. The "laptop" size actually looks better because it doesn't have them.

I don't have the dongle and didn't pay anything. I can't speak about customer service because so far I've never needed to contact them. Hopefully that is something I won't have to find out the hard way. I do have a Steinberg dongle and having to pay for that was an unexpected bitter pill at the time, so I know what you mean there. The thing I find most off putting these days is that every plugin vendor wants to have their own "manager" installed even for a demo. I'm not doing that.

People pay for radio stations ? I guess I can mark that down as a thing that I've learned today.

I used to think the same (based on having many odd problems with it installed that amazingly enough went away as soon as it was uninstalled) but I was persuaded to try it again by someone here because something I wanted (can't remember who or what now) required it and TBH it hasn't been a problem for however many years that has been.

Question for those with V collection....So far with Arturia I have just let the things I have install to default locs as they are quite small anyway, but as VC is 30+ GB does it have to go on C drive or is there an option to install the samples/whatever to a different HD ?

Last time Arturia gave this out free they followed up with a $29 upgrade to full version not long after, so it's worth grabbing even if the lite version doesn't really do enough for you. The full version is very impressive for that kind of outlay. I've been hoping since then that they would do the same with voices.

I've never really understood all the fuss about Halloween. I'm always being told that I should just have fun with it. Make the effort and join in more. So this year I went all out with the scary costumes, hired a professional set and lighting designer and turned my house into a haunted house of horrors. If I say so myself I blew the neighbours pathetic attempts away. I did it better than anyone. I was the new king of Halloween. Then these two clowns had to go and top me by digging their old friends up.
