Never had that issue. Does the tone go away if you disable all input echos? What audio interface are you using?

I have a PCR-800 that I have had working in all iterations of Windows10, including 22H2. I had to hack an INF file in the PCR Windows 8 drivers to make this happen. You will still have to disable Windows driver signing to install them. One other thing I would recommend is to tell Windows10 not to touch drivers when installing Windows quality updates. Have you confirmed that the Dimension Pro DLL file is actually in a folder that is listed in Preferences - File - VST settings > VST Scan paths?

I have never paid for than $19.00 for an AAS sound pak. What is more, I have never paid for than $99 for any of their synths. There are many plugins from many companies where I reckon the sale price is their actual price. For EG, does anyone actually pay $US199 for Eventide’s Black Hole? Really?, I paid $US29.99 when it was on sale (which is regularly does). The are very few plugins or libraries that I have purchased that I have paid actual MSRP for.

For the MixThreadCount, it means determine the number of cores your CPU has. Subtract one from that number. That's the number you enter into the MixThreadCount field.

I opened Notes and on mine, there is indeed an option to change the picture. Do you have “Apply Workspace on Project Load” ticked in the workspace menu?

CbB and Cakewalk Sonar Backstage can both exist on the same PC as they are installed in their own program folder You should even be able have them both open at the same time. However, you might not want to run them both simultaneously for every long as there are some shared components. if you want to have them bother open at the same time, then only do so for a quick test.

Goldwave does not use ASIO drivers either....... Might have been a setting in Audacity that caused the stuttering in Audacity. Is everything set to the same bit depth? (24bit seems to be the one most people use)

You need to find out where the VST DLL file for Guitar Rig 6 resides on your computer. Then add that location to the list of VST Scan Paths in Preferences - Files - VST Settings. If that location is already listed, then from that same preferences screen, do a scan.

I usually record MIDI events from a MIDI controller directly into a MIDI track. Then I can do further edits on the resultant MIDI events in the PRV controller lane for the given controller. In your case, it is probably CC74 for LP filter cut off.

Your PC kicks way more derriere than mine ever will, yet I am not having this issue. My PC stays on 24/7, sometimes with weeks between reboots. Make sure the only thing your defrag tool is doing to your SSDs is TRIMMING. Anything else will shorten its life. Have you done a 4K alignment on your SSDs? Have you tried disabling the Windows Prefetch (called SysMain in services), Superfetch and the indexing services? Have you excluded all folders that have anything to do with Cakewalk from being scanned by any real time Antivirus / Antimalware programs?

Both. Sometimes VST3 does not play nice.
