Careful and make sure you read fine print. Cross grade is from any *paid* product you *bought*. I thought I qualified b/c i had Carbon which I got free, but not the case.

I'll use this occasionally. Not sure I know exactly how to use it properly, but its interesting to try things with it.

I am a big fan of this particular plugin console and I have a few. I feel Softube make the best version. It's also cool to use it within AmpRoom.

My only issues are with using their legacy controller -- hence I need to keep my old DAW at older versions of the software if I want to be able to use the Jam controller. ?

There are quite a few that are really good. I use the Renaissance series a lot.

$249 here. and i own V8.

FWIW.. I run in off external drive. No issues at all. Just make sure you keep the expected folder naming structure. I don't want to sound like an IKM sales rep. But where it's handy for me is it allows me to work on ideas from just one interface. I do more traditional folk, rock music. So having access to al those sampled instruments with some rudimentary t-racks effects interface is handy for me. I don't do much sound design or experimental stuff. Just a lot of arranging and rudimentary orchestration. I recently get into using it for its multi functionality and that sort of opened up some new possibilities. When I start working on a new track, its usually one of the first things I load up.

yup. agree. it could be better if they implemented some sort of change in GUI theme.

I guess it all depends what you do. I use it a lot in what i do.
