  1. I have dudes that have never programmed who are now using chatgpt to make php and asp code and dump it into live production repo every day. which then needs to get debugged. I figure I should be able to do same with Max. Plus i do know how to code in other langs. :0)
  2. Yeah, it would be cool if IK did a YT video showing a road map for future so customers get some better understanding of why certain (fairly new to the market) products just got shut down. My guess is, IK have decided to not spend any more resources on updating and maintaining instrument products and decided to focus on guitar products and audio recording products. Who knows. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/?S1=553
  3. Yes. but i got those libs long time ago, way before they were discontinue. The only thing that is breaking on my end is that dragging midi from ST into FL studio channel rack stopped working in FL 2025. Also, typing in search bar in ST seems to be broken in FL 2025. Both AU and VST. But it all works fine in FL 2024. So I have no clue if its an Image Line problem or a IK update. Sitting and waiting for next FL update to see if it all gets fixed.
  4. thanks for the insights. i am an IT guy coder in my real life day job but i don't do that sort of coding. Just looking at it to see if its something I may want to start to get into on the side. (Not that i have that much free time on my hands.) I found some courses and also the the books reference on it. https://www.kadenze.com/courses/max-msp-programming-course-structuring-interactive-software-for-digital-arts/info https://cycling74.com/books
  5. I am using most recent update and all my old libs work fine.
  6. hmm. no users of this? 😞
  7. My understanding is no. But Peter would be best to answer that. If this was for ST 4 Max, I would totally jump on this to fill out the rest of my missing libraries. I get a lot of juju out of ST and really like using it. I dont get the hate for it.
  8. looks intriguing? anyone use this? thoughts?
  9. I own Volume bundle 6. I am happy with it. I got it all at once.
  10. we use adobe in the enterprise. this includes photoshop and illustrator. they are sub model's. the people that use them are on managed computers. there are exploits for everything. some are more widely publicized than others. https://www.fortinet.com/blog/threat-research/adobe-photoshop-vulnerabilities-discovered
  11. what is odd is adding to cart does not show discount.
  12. this pretty much summs up my experience with it
  13. Barry Manilow called. He said "that's my shaijt man!"
  14. Sorry man, but from what I remember, Def Leopard were the Brit version of Europe. it was a weird brand of pop hard rock. not heavy metal at all.
  15. I agree to some extent. Software subs really suck and do cost more in long run. But with the security landscape and big push for more security, I think this gives big companies leverage to make the case that subs and constant behind the scenes updates are here to stay. What I am finding in the case of Adobe monopoly, the costs is driving folks to find cheaper open source alternatives.
  16. They were big when i was a kid. Everyone owned Hysteria album. Even me. They were always hard rock pop to me. i never thought of them as metal, even before Pyromania . Metal back in early 80s was Iron Maiden and Whitesname and Motorheard. These guys were pop. Sorry.
  17. I will give it a chance as I am a prog fan and you suggest. But I saw them live a few years ago and they were dreadful.
  18. I like using mixbox. But I still don't get, how can they keep selling it. it's abandonware at this point.
  19. I am still waiting for Absolute 7 to come out.
  20. well, that took a strange turn
  21. I endorse this post. I agree with almost all of it. Something very strange is up with IKM. I just makes no sense they killed newer products and kept Miroslav.
