  1. And in addition if you have the disk archive space, you could always export the stems without FX, in case you might get the itch to remix it 10 years down the road...
  2. Remember there is always the possibility that one had to shelve their musical projects for a while, and tend to life's other responsibilities. But technology does keep moving on regardless... That's one reason why Craig Anderton (and others) say bouncing mixed tracks down is always a good practice. Better shelf life that way without dependence on specific plug-ins, or DAWs.
  3. Maybe load any old projects up temporarily on a Win 10 machine. Then bounce the tracks down with FX including the old Waves plugin.
  4. Have you listened to the latest pop hits recently???
  5. Ha! Poll - which do you think will be first? Flying cars Zebra 3 SynthMaster 3
  6. I say, I say, that's a REAL foghorn, son...
  7. I don't need to learn new songs for a band I'm not in, but it occurred to me that deCoda might be handy for ripping chord progressions from popular songs, to use in original works. Can't copyright a chord progression, as far as I'm aware... As long as the melody, bass line, and rhythm differ you should be OK.
  8. I bought it from PIB the last time it was on sale. PayPal always works for me at PIB. Never bought anything at the Zplane site. Not on sale there, either.
  9. Hmmm... that's weird. It says "your price = $29.77 (including tax)", but it bumps up to $33 if I actually put it in the cart! I already own it, so I'm not about to complete this purchase. But still very weird!
  10. Let the $29 world cup games begin, LOL!!! ?
  11. $33 at PIB according to this site, but actually $29.74 when I add it to PIB cart. Then if you have any Virtual Cash you could go lower... https://musicsoftwaredeals.com/?searchbox=decoda&price_from=0&price_to=9999
  12. Did you see the Venus Theory video, "The making of Foghorn"?
  13. But a $149 sale price for "Everything" is still a great entry level for a product normally marked at $379. https://www.synthmaster.com/synthmastereverythingbundle.aspx
  14. I believe each code is personalized for existing users.
  15. Did any of you consider "accessibility" and use by the hearing impaired? Not mentioned here, but should always be a consideration. That is something that is now a commonplace requirement in a lot product design, but probably not in the music industry. Just a thought.
  16. The Eventide delay and chorus plugins such as UltraTap, and Tricerachorus may be of interest as well. Also on sale!
  17. Blackhole is an amazing reverb! A no-brainer for sure on sale for $29, or less! It won't replace your conventional reverbs, but will give you a massive special FX tool! A must have for out-of-this-world reverb. https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/eventide-blackhole "Cons: None, unless you're expecting realistic emulations of rooms and plates." "The reverb controls on offer mix the familiar with the weird. The Mix, Size, High and Low EQ and Pre-delay parameters all do what you expect, but the Gravity knob is not quite so commonplace. It turns out to be the Blackhole's equivalent of decay time, but it also switches the algorithm from a conventional reverb in one half of its travel to a reverse-envelope type in the other. At no time does the reverb time ever get short enough to be termed modest!" I also have the Eventide Shimmerverb. They make a nice pair. https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/eventide-shimmerverb "Essentially, it combines reverb with a dual pitch-shifter, delay and EQ, and it aims to replicate some of the more creative pitched-reverb techniques that were developed by studio engineers in the early 1980s, who used combinations of hardware. While some shimmer reverb effects rely on pitch-shifting the reverb tail, this one places pitch-shifters in the feedback loop, resulting in a more complex sound." "ShimmerVerb creates a lush, smooth effect, and there's plenty of variation on offer. It sounds quite ethereal on guitar but it can also work magic on synths and even vocal sounds. Detuning the shifters opens up the possibility of subtle pitch-spiralling, which can make for a lovely, rich sound, while adding fourth or fifth intervals can also generate some interest. Add in some tempo-sync'ed delay and there's a wealth of shimmer sounds that will sit nicely alongside your rhythm tracks."
  18. Or maybe you can make do for now with the new Spitfire LABS "Foghorn".
  19. Vital does text to wavetable... https://vital.audio/#getvital Unlimited TTW in the subscription or Pro version. Otherwise, I believe the TTW limit is 5 per day in the Free version.

  23. $149 is still the lowest price I can recall seeing for the full Everything Bundle, without an upgrade of some kind. If you already own anything from KV331, and didn't receive a coupon, you should contact support and ask if you can get a discount on the $149 deal. They may help you out! https://www.synthmaster.com/contactus.aspx
