  1. Go for it! Give up that extra caffe latte today! I have the IK T-RackS Space Echo and just listened to them A/B. IK ain't bad, but the Stardust opens up a whole new dimension with the chorus unit. Plus Cherry has put many more presets into their unit, most of which seem to be usable starting points...
  2. I also found this almost 10 year old thread... "My disks have arrived" (Sonar X2 plus a free mystery gift). http://forum.cakewalk.com/My-disks-have-arrived-m2675653.aspx
  3. Very high quality instruments that he sells at affordable prices for the full Kontakt. Tracy's specialty is sampling strings such as guitars and other "Americana" instruments. Recommend!!! https://www.indiginus.com/ This guitar is only $59 USD:
  4. $7.56 at JRR with discount code "GROUP"!!! Installed!!!!!!
  5. Not a bad price! Is this better than T-RackS "Space Delay"? It seems that both were modeled after the Roland Space Echo RE-201. Asking for a friend... https://cherryaudio.com/products/stardust-201 https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/trspacedelay/?pkey=t-racks-single-space-delay Edit: Never mind. I see that Cherry also included the chorus from the RE-301, which T-RackS doesn't have. https://reverb.com/p/roland-re-301-chorus-echo
  6. I'm still trying to work out the mind-bending puzzles in Myst...
  7. If you think about it, you only need to deny yourselves 17 deals on $29 plugins to save up the $499 needed for the one and only Omnisphere 2. This is heresy on the "Deals" forum, I know... ? ... Edit to add deal: https://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/spectrasonics-omnisphere-2 Use code "LABOR" in the cart for the discount price. Deal ends September 7th.
  8. Well TBH, I stated "I believe that...", which is to say "to the best of my knowledge". I don't recall the box sets for the Sonar X series, and I have been a Cakewalk user since before Sonar with Pro Audio 9. My last box set is Sonar 8.5 Producer. Do you have any evidence of the X-series box set by chance? ?
  9. Great job digging up a comment from 3 years ago! ?
  10. With all of my Spitfire LABS collection on hand, I keep forgetting to check up on SINE factory... ?
  11. Right, because only NEW free stuff is allowed to be posted here... ?
  12. Dawesome is very cool, but independently developed. Tracktion is just their distribution partner, aka their "label".
  13. If you have migrated your Cakewalk account to the new SSO (Single Sign On) system around 2014, then BandLab should have a record of your account/product registration. Otherwise, no, the former Cakewalk site does not any accept new account registrations since November 17, 2017. https://www.cakewalk.com/Gibson-Announcement Also, if you have login credentials for the legacy Cakewalk site, your product serials and registration codes are still available there, or via Cakewalk Command Center. You can try support@bandlab.com for assistance.
  14. KORG M1 Release Notes for Win/Mac: https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/articles/4403869885081-M1 Version 2.3.3 [PC] After updating to version 2.3.2, Cakewalk by BandLab would not open the project properly and initialize the synthesizer. This has been fixed. Version 2.3.2 [PC/Mac] After installing the version 2.3.0 plug-ins, opening a project that was using earlier versions of the plug-ins would cause the project to not recall properly or to crash. This issue was observed in Cubase, Nuendo and Studio One 5. This problem has been fixed. [PC/Mac] Fixed a problem in which vst patch files created with vst2 plug-ins in Cubase could not be loaded correctly in vst3. [PC/Mac] Fixed a problem with Digital Performer 11 where it would fail to validate vst3 plug-ins. Version 2.3.1 [PC/Mac] Improved the behavior of the Filter and Envelope graphical editors. Version 2.3.0 [PC/Mac] VST3 format support [Mac] Native Apple Silicon support. [PC/Mac] Improved stability. Version 2.2.1 [Bugfix] After you insert M1 in Pro Tools, sometimes you cannot select an input source for the other tracks. This has been fixed. Version 2.2.0 KORG Collection 3 initial version
  15. Get a cheap MIDI controller keyboard and use that to trigger the Ample P Lite instrument.
  16. LOL, I had to do a quick double check in my Product Manager as well!
  17. Yep, I mentioned VG-Carbon in my last comment. It was released after the UJAM v2 updates were released, and was the first totally new VG to have the new feature set, so UJAM didn't tag it as v2. But Silk, Amber, and Sparkle do not have the new feature set yet. I got Sparkle in a giveaway years ago, and was disappointed with the limitations. Holding out on Silk and Amber until they are upgraded. I did buy Carbon and Iron 2 because of the new feature additions. And I have all of the UJAM basses.
  18. If you want a playable nylon string guitar, and have the full Kontakt, for $59 you might want to have a look at the Indiginus Renaxxance. https://www.indiginus.com/renaxxance-nylon-string-guitar
  19. If you watch the tutorial video, you set the style and/or pattern by pressing a keyswitch, then hold a note down and the virtual guitarist plays the selected "melody" in that key/chord. UJAM added the Instrument Mode to the version 2 virtual guitarists, where you can play the notes yourself. As far as I can tell, only VG-Carbon (technically a "version 2") and VG-Iron 2 have this ability. I also have VG-Sparkle, and it does NOT have Instrument Mode. The Virtual Bassists all have an Instrument Mode. Edit: another feature that UJAM added to virtual guitars in v2 was the MIDI pattern drag and drop that allows you to move patterns from the instrument UI to your DAW track. The virtual basses have this as well. The interesting thing about this feature is that the MIDI pattern is transposed to the note you are playing/holding at the time you click-drag the pattern out. Very cool!
