They do have sales regularly, but not on a schedule. He just throws it.out there it would seem. Not like Hornet at all!!

Introducing The Amazing Compact Disc | 1982 | Retro vintage 80s technology

So... after all this time, no guess correctly and @Mike Docy doesn't provide the answer either? Come.on now, what kind of trivia game is this? : ) -
If you are going to get it, and just can't swing the full package, get one of the smaller packages and then WAIT till the sales come around at the end of the year to get in on a larger package. They sometimes have sales through out the year on the add-on packs too. I worked my way up to the Everything Pack. I forget what they call it now.

Good point. Somebody must have felt that it didn't belong in the main forum.

This was a program that I had to really get down and RTFM. And not just once, quite a few times. But man was it worth it! The results that I have gotten from this and the Real Tracks/Real Drums really have surprised me. Working on a song right now that the only thing I really need to do with it is the vocals and some fill lead here and there.

I am hearing a very dry vocal. Which when you go to put it in a mix is what I would be looking for. Try rolling off the low end with a high pass filter (on the cure EQ) around 100-150hz. Then add Breverb Plate with a short time and then mix in the sound. Don't over do it. If the plate is too much, try the room verb. This will help in getting a more lively sound to the vocal.

Yes please update. Not only for curiosity's sake, but to help others who may have the same problem. If nothing else, it will show that if you put up steps to produce an issue, others will give it a try to see if it's a issue with them. The more users that can reproduce the issue, the more likely it can/will be fixed.

I saw that and thought, "Somebody was waiting on that plugin, but at that price? IDK." If you could use at least the $25 voucher, maybe. But no! They have not sent them out yet.

@btbrock I would keep both different too. Because I have so many plugins, when I right click to put an fx in the bin, I am presented a list that is so long and you can only scroll through it one at a time, it makes that list unusable for me. If I want a plugin at the bottom of the list, it takes way too long to get there. So I have gotten use to using the Browser. It's search function works really great too! And now because the Right Click menu keeps recently used plugins at the top, you can use it to drop in the same plugins to different trks. I also have views that don't have a browser open, and for those views (Screen Sets) I hit 'B' to bring it up the Browser and close it.

Antonio, I just tried your steps and could not reproduce the issue. 1. New Project 2. Recorded short clip in mono (clapping) 3. Added Waves API 550B (eq) to FX bin of trk in the TV. 4. Right clicked clip to selected and choose Bounce To Clip. 5. Clip bounced and no hangup. Are my steps the same as what you do? I also tried Bounce to Track and no hang with that either. I also tried splitting the clip, shifting sections around and then 'Bounce To Clip' and it still worked as expected with no hangs.

I found it just like you said Jim. Thanks again.

Great description of this place. I was drawn toward CW due to the great help that was given on the news-group. It has stayed that way all these years. It's almost like I can go to a studio, look over the engineers shoulder and ask all the questions I want!!

Thanks for the link Fogle, I knew there was some place to submit this stuff but could not find the info.

Waiting on the book!! : )

Steven, how are you liking the new 'Look' of the Melda Plugins? They call it Neon.
-
Yes it is. I've got all three of these console plugins. And they are really good. Just as good as Waves SSL versions. They have that unique feature of 72 different channels that you can use.
-
I was wondering where all that came from! Nice job.

Good info. Wow! Great work Craig! That first song is really good. Catchy, great beat, good vocals, and the video!! Did you do that video yourself? The colors are so vivid, especially at the 4:28 part. I enjoyed watching it.
-
So do I. : ) I don't hear much about it, but I just love playing around with Ultra Analog. And Chromaphone is really nice, along with String Studio. What surprised me was Strum GS2. I did the RTM thing and was really wow' d when I found out, and actually was able to get it to strum just like I wanted!! It has a lot of "strum" midi file already with it and they can be manipulated as you pleased. Like I said, I was really surprised. And I am a guitar player, not a keyboard player.

Good song @Craig Anderton. Great mix/master too! I forget what mix tutorial it was, but you did one that involved using the new Sonar Console Emulations. That was when I re-evaluated my method for mixing!! I have since gone the way of I can spend my time writing better songs than trying to mix better. These old ears just can't serve me like I would like. Mastering is a total art unto itself. And I haven't figured out how the mixing process goes with the Mastering process. Someone said (I think it was Larry) something about the older songs being mixed/mastered badly. When I do hear some of my favorite songs I can hear the mistakes they had to live with! But they had to make decisions, keep the ball rolling, get the next client in... but we still loved them songs! : )

They are sneaky little bas.....buggers!! : )

CbB Not Remembering Sonar Platinum Plug-Ins

If you are using Win10, type "snip" in the search box and you will see Windows own "Snipping Tool" works like a charm!
