  1. Let us know when you find it!! : )
  2. I like GM stuff. I use it with EZ Drummer 2 and also to make new styles in Jamstix. Really versatile midi loops. And with some of the packs you get a whole song played from start to finish. Great for quick practices. Or to chop up and use.
  3. I switch back and forth between that and putting the license in the cloud. I never mess with any type of network or MAC address stuff. That's beyond my understanding. And when I did look at it years ago, it was a lot more involved than I really wanted. I mean the only reason I ever got a computer was to do my music. (The reason I gave the family was to allow everyone to learn computers!!) So if it ain't got nothing to do with that aspect of computing, I leave it alone.

    IK Sale at JRR

Great deal at the $126 Crossgrade deal. Some really great plugins in there. At < $3.50 a plugin? I'd say that's on par with their BOG5 free deals!
  5. @Jim Hurley Would Waves give you that 'One Time A Year' licenses 'do-over' ? I agree that their license scheme isn't the greatest, but it's really not that bad once you got it figured out. And the quality of their products gives them some of the best bang-for-buck value out there today! I would even venture to say that you could spend another $29 on these same plugins and once you use them, you will agree they worth the $60 investment! However, after having said all that, there are companies that I will never give my money to again. Period. If that's your choice I understand and respect that decision.
  6. I really don't know if I will master all my plugins. At the present pace, that's not gonna happen!! But I can tell you, I have had a lot of time with the 2445 and ...... it's nice! I got 2445 after I already had Waves Abbey Road Plates, and I fell in love with that AR reverb hard. 2445 has a funniny UI, but nothing you can't get your head around really quick.
  7. That's it,.... you talked me into it!
  8. I hope they stay on sale a little longer. I'd like to pick at least one up.
  9. I agree. Like my PSP stuff. Old time comp is really sweet. Like their leslie sim too, but it hits the CPU hard.
  10. At the price it's a no-brainer!!!
  11. This is a great reverb unit. One of my favs
  12. Scook makes a great point for those new to CbB. The Track Filter determines what menu you will get when you right click a clip.
  13. On the clip you want to render, right click and select Bounce To Clip. You may want to check the clip properties in the Inspector first to see what you have set to render clips with. Elastique Pro and Radius Mix are really good choices.
  14. DDP!! My first one....I think.... on this forum!
  15. Experimentation is where it's at!! We fail when we confine ourselves to our own limitations!
  16. I agree. But we have become so use to the 'easy' way, that we forget they had special techs (artists really!) that would come in to a very important recording session, and actually 'splice' parts of the recorded performances tape into pieces and reconstruct the tape to be able to be played like nothing ever happened to it. Imagine what a comp session was like back in those days!!
  17. Scook beat me to it. However, if you want to start with a soft sound, IOW low velocity, then build to loud sound, you will need several (or more) notes, each with a little more velocity. But if you just want one sound all the way through, scook's idea is best/easiest.
  18. Not understanding here. Because you never used it or heard it? I'm tempted.
  19. What version of CbB are you on?
  20. I'd be happy with just the ability to have different colored markers. Having never had what SK is talking about, and having made do with what we have, I am ok if we never get it. But man, it would be nice!!!

    XLN Audio XO

Will have to watch when I get home. Buffering too much over here at work. I didn't know about the color/grouping thing. That would be really cool.
  22. I still wonder what's in 'that' folder! Is Mixcraft and Mixbuss the same people?
  23. Koby will give you a great price. Everytime I went with him because his price gave me the best bang for the buck. [edit] I want to add also that Koby with everyplugin.com gave me good prices on every upgrade I ever did with my Waves plugins. From Gold all the way to Mercury. He had the best prices. Just fill in the info for the upgrade you want, what you already have, and he will make it happen. At the best price you can find.
  24. Not looking for new interface, but it is interesting. You get some real nice T-Racks modules with it too!!
