To bring thread back on topic!! I tried to use Reaxis with my test but it needed to authorized again. This is like the second or third time this has happened. Anyone else seeing this?

Thank you for the responses gentlemen. Appreciate the link Zinc. D/l the demo and played around with it for about an hour. So I got a good feel for it. I tried to dial in a more pleasing feedback response, but never could really get happy with it. The defaults seems about where it works best. And works it does. Easily gets feedback with very little effort. If a sound is coming through, it's trying to feedback!! And the feedback tone is really wonderful. Very realistic. That said, to me it has an over compressed sound to it. I used it with THU through the Metro head (I love that head!). As stated above, it sounded great. But I am not a big fan at all of heavy compression. And I can hear it. But more importantly for me, I feel it. When I turn off the AcuoFeind, the Metro sounds much more natural. I can get great pinch harmonics out of it. I will try it out some more. Haven't made up my mind yet.

How is it on chords? Same question, how is it on chords. What kind of authorization?

I can not sign up. I put my email addy in, correctly I might add, and it tells me I got errors and a new scroll bar appears alongside the one already there. WT*?

Has this been posted before? PA giving everyone free use of ALL their plugins due to circumstances. I looked on their website and didn't see anything right off the bat, so I am posting what I found at KVR: https://www.kvraudio.com/news/plugin-alliance-plugins-free-for-1-month-48069

Yes it is. I like the sounds that are available. But to be honest, it was all down to the cost. I got in on ST2 due to Larry posting here about Total Studio back in the day. I upgraded to ST 3 (which I liked the UI much better than ST 2) then to ST 4. I have really enjoyed and found the program useful and sounds really good. And no, I don't have a problem reading the text in ST4. How is your contrast on your monitor set?

I see that now!! Thanks for pointing that out. I missed it!!

Man... when I read this I thought it was going to include ST 2 & 3 in the comparison!! BTW, that pdf is over 200 pages!! That's a lot of a sounds!

Again, that Springbox is a no-brainer.

@Freyja Grimaude-Valens send in a support ticket. They have had bad samples before and people sent in support tickets and they fixed them.

Listening to this on my phone, I can't make out if it's a guitar amp sim or bass amp sim. But I do know it's got a lot to do with metal! ???

I bought a used FireFace 400 for more money than I ever paid for any audio interface. But I had heard for a long time RME was the best. So I gave it a shot. They have won me over. I will be a RME customer for life now. I recently purchased a used (like brand new!) UA Apollo Twin. And I really love it too! But I am not getting rid of the RME FF 400. I rather RME console software over UA version. Much more flexible. But the UA plugins...... man!! I am waiting to see how the UA drivers work on big projects.

But I would suggest that if you don't have that Springbox... man that is one sweet verb. Just has a great sound to it. for $20? No-Brainer.

I have been using ST since ST2. Have always liked the sounds that I have got from it. With ST 3, they really made a leap in UI and sound. I still use ST3 on my Surface (takes less space!). I pretty much don't use anything else anymore as far as a sampler. I don't own Kontakt. Not even the free version. ST4 does what I need very well.

I am installing all my IK stuff on my new build. I have Total Studio MAX, which includes SampleTank 4 MAX. I also have Total Studio with ST 2, Miroslav and all the other synths. I also have ST 3 and want to have all the sound available in ST4MAX. What would be the best way to install this? Does anyone know? Because I have ST4MAX, does that mean I don't need to install all the previous versions of ST?

Dang!! Missed this! I went with XLN Store so I could get the serial quicker. But man.. that was almost $20!!

Thanks Mesh. I have been looking at it since it came out. And you helped push me off the fence!! D/L now!!

At JRR https://www.jrrshop.com/xln-audio-xo That seems like they have come way down off the initial price they were asking. I might d/l the demo. Today is last day for sale.

And how do you go about proving that?
