I bought a used FireFace 400 for more money than I ever paid for any audio interface. But I had heard for a long time RME was the best. So I gave it a shot. They have won me over. I will be a RME customer for life now. I recently purchased a used (like brand new!) UA Apollo Twin. And I really love it too! But I am not getting rid of the RME FF 400. I rather RME console software over UA version. Much more flexible. But the UA plugins...... man!! I am waiting to see how the UA drivers work on big projects.

But I would suggest that if you don't have that Springbox... man that is one sweet verb. Just has a great sound to it. for $20? No-Brainer.

I have been using ST since ST2. Have always liked the sounds that I have got from it. With ST 3, they really made a leap in UI and sound. I still use ST3 on my Surface (takes less space!). I pretty much don't use anything else anymore as far as a sampler. I don't own Kontakt. Not even the free version. ST4 does what I need very well.

I am installing all my IK stuff on my new build. I have Total Studio MAX, which includes SampleTank 4 MAX. I also have Total Studio with ST 2, Miroslav and all the other synths. I also have ST 3 and want to have all the sound available in ST4MAX. What would be the best way to install this? Does anyone know? Because I have ST4MAX, does that mean I don't need to install all the previous versions of ST?

Dang!! Missed this! I went with XLN Store so I could get the serial quicker. But man.. that was almost $20!!

There ain't many that I want anymore. After I got the Flanger and Focusrite, that's almost a wrap!!

But since I have spent so much with them I can't get these good deals. Last thing I got from them was the Focusrite Console strip. And I didn't use any coupon with it other than the one for the Focusrite. Every month since Jan I haven't used my $50 voucher. Can't even give it away. BTW, I already have this one.

Real nice delay!! I had to take a look at the GUI to remember, yes this is a really great guitar echo. I love playing around with it. Every time I go to use it I have to remind myself that I'm going for something.... not just playing around. But every time I use it I end up fooling with this or that and getting lost in it and loosing track of time!! More than worth the $19.

At least this is a good sign. Evidently they are listening and do care. At least about how it makes them look!

Reading this, I feel for those that are affected. I would be P. O'd. I only have one thing by NI, GR5. I rarely use it, though it is a good sim. Not sure I want to deal with NI either. Just doesn't look/feel right.

Is it a Mexican or foreign language station your picking up ? IOW, a very high powered radio that the FCC can't control. Rebel radio maybe? If it is local, then I would think your equipment doesn't have enough shielding.

Yes they will have to be in it for the long haul no doubt. But if they do like Presonus did, and keep the dev team rather small, it make take a while, but it will be more solid code (assuming the devs are good!) and cost effective. No, don't have to think much about it at all. Millions of new users would jump at it.

I understand the DAW market is crowded. But the thing they got going for them is the clean slate. They are not dealing with any legacy product. They get to develop however they like. I think that announcement is an open invitation to anyone who wants to join a beta team to help develop the product.

@kennywtelejazz What year is it? Was it in good shape? That's one sweet deal!! And was this recently? You just don't find stuff like that anymore these days.
