  1. It's almost an absurd amount of stuff to keep. It will all be in zip files that you will want to keep as backup. You will have to unzip all those files to use them... you gonna use a lot of that 1tb drive!!
  2. Well there may be no control over the power amp section as we know it, but according to the RockRack manual, they are AMP sims. Doesn't mention preamps. From the manual: The bx_rockrack V3 boasts eight famous amp models in a single plugin, including the Metal BX 666, an original creation of Brainworx founder Dirk Ulrich and Senior DSP Engineer Igor Nembrini. On top of that, 40 impulse responses are included, offering just the right variety of tone and timbre for your guitar rig. As with all their guitar amps, Brainworx gives you a powerful selection of perfectly recorded boutique cabinets captured with complete effects chains from studios featuring great sounding amp rooms and stellar gear. Each amp was painstakingly recorded by professional audio engineers who make their living by capturing tone. Imagine being able to take your pick of famous amps from Marshall®, Mesa, and ENGL, then running them through any one of several speaker cabinets mic’d and treated with the studio rack of your dreams. bx_rockrack V3 brings this dream to life, right inside your DAW. So the way I am reading and understanding what they are saying, they believe it to be complete amp setups from start to finish.
  3. I claimed the 1.8gb free content. Good thing about this is it won't d/l it all unless you tell it too! Sweet! I am on mobile right now and am able to just d/l what they call a kit. Ends up being drums, bass, guitar, and other parts. Then you drag that into the mixer part and it sets up everything for you. Kool thing about it is you can drag midi from Momentum into the daw and trigger different slices from there or your keyboard. From the PRV you can change the way the whole thing is played. However, I haven't figured out how to get what you manipulate into a new wav file.
  4. @ZincT You can drag your own stuff into it. I have d/l it and am trying to figure it out now. Seems like it's OK so far.
  5. Is anybody working with Momentum? Any drawbacks? Quirks? Is it stable? I'm trying it out now to see what it's all about. Looks like it would be something useful.
  6. Site must be getting slammed!! Can't get in.
  7. Do you have to prove you got SO? And will it be locked to SO? And what version of SO does it require? So many questions!! : ) Going look for the answers!!
  8. Not a bad deal. It comes with a decent noise gate, delay, and it's own IR for what they call "Recording Chains" I go mine at a similar deal back when I could use my voucher. I finally got a $25 voucher this month! I am so proud!! : )
  9. I really liked BFD Eco. I thought they had a winner there. Now it's discontinued.
  10. Yes Mesh, that's what I was testing it with. A pre-recorded clean dry guitar. When you look at the delay, it very simple. But it does offer the option of adjusting the left and right side, and still keeps them in sync with the project. I set the left to an eighth note and the right to a quarter note, adjusted the feedback and then the mix was set at around 33% IIRC. Tehn I went to the chorus and brought the freq down to about 20hz with the mix set around 60 - 75%. I set the LFO on a sine wave, with the rate at 1 measure. I am still new to the plugin so these settings may be named wrong. I didn't even mes with the flanger yet, and I want to do that tonight when I get home.
  11. I like Nebula! I find that I can modulate the mix of the Delay with the sine wave/triangle and get a good delay that not's crowding at all. And from just messing with it I think it only modulates as much of the mix as you have dialed in on the fx. Which is really sweet! Like I said I am getting a great chorus with an ever so slight delay that gives it lots of space. (I have the left and right delay times set differently)
  12. Yes you should give it a shot. The LFO can modulate the Delay, Chorus, and the Filter!! It can get really nice or wild! I wouldn't say it it gets freaky wild, but that depends on you I guess! : ) And yes on the SoundSpot website Nebula is listed at $139. But if you put it along with 4 other plugins that have the 5 for $5 sign on them, you can get them all for little over $6 USD.
  13. Well I just got through installing Nebula on my new Music PC. I remember buying it on sale based on what Larry had said about it. But I had never used it. Well I figured I try it out today and was really surprised at what this thing can do! Nice plugin. So I went to the website and looked around and saw all these 5 for $5 signs on the plugins. So I load 5 of them up and sure enough, I was able to get them all for little over $6. So I went back and got the Union synth and all the sound packs with it. Then I said, I bet the Deal crowd would like to know about this one. But before I posted I did look around. And sure enough Larry already posted something about it. : ) Well for anyone interested, they have Nebula as part of the 5 for $5 sale. The Chorus on that thing is worth the $5 all by itself. Fantastic Chorus. and then you get three other fx in Nebula, along with four other plugins for the little over $6. Is this no-brainer territory? Yes I do believe!
  14. PA, it was meant as a joke to Larry's post about them raising the price of the monthly sub. : ) I know.... sometime my humor leaves something to be desired!!
  15. I said it before... They have lost their minds over there!!
  16. I didn't think so. But when we create, then turn it loose to others, it's always surprising how others take our work in ways we never intended or even thought about!! Good work!
  17. This is the best I have heard from you Wookiee. It evoked a lot of emotions, and that surprised me. Even scared me a few times! I started reading the posts that other made, but decided I would give you my impression raw, as I felt it. As I listened on my headphones, I closed my eyes and let the bass rhythm just take me off. I felt joy during the beginning. Then the loud sound came in and that's what scared me (scared me twice, once then and towards the end too!!)There were some times when I even thought of me being in a wooden casket and the nails were being driven in! Really enjoyed it.
  18. Scarred for life!!
  19. I use to do that too. Until I started working in several.places with different machines. Then it's easier to save something in the plugin your working with. The transfer between machines works much better.
  20. Yes this is a good deal.
  21. I think only Soft Tube has that one, Overloud has some nice ones. Actually those Overloud PC modules are pretty damn good. And Boz has a few. I think that's all the third parties that I can remember.
  22. Happy Easter to all. Hope all stay safe and healthy.
  23. $90 at Best Service for a six pack of codes. Use to get it for around $65!!
  24. They gonna do an After Easter Sale. Watch.
