Agreed. I'll give them this, they never gave up on that subscription plan. And looking at these plugins that are included, I gotta give 'em props, that's a good deal. I went and read the terms, and they say that if they remove a plugin from the bundle, they will give you a forever license for free so that you can still open projects made with that plugin. Not a bad deal there. I'm not for a plugin subscription. But if I was just getting into this, I have to admit this would look attractive.

But also be aware that if you sell something, they will take the Jam points you earned for that product from your Jam Point balance. Even if that creates a NEGATIVE balance! Yep, ask Larry. (I'm still laughing about that one!!)

I grew to really like it. In fact I still use it on my Surface Pro. It's a smaller install than the huge sound set that comes with ST4.
-
No he must not have!! ? edit: OMG! He's one of them!! : ) Just kidding of course Reid!
-
Did anyone hit the limit today?
-
That's what I said way back in the thread. I wasn't kidding either!! Yes Lee, you are doing it right. Your doing it the only way you can. Count how many clicks ya gotta do for each one of those sound sets, or parts!! This is the ... well I have said it enough! But it sure is worth it. Or I wouldn't have done it! I gotta give them cred for being top notch in the sound and quality of the programs. From Amplitube to T-Racks to ST3. They are really good.

Yes they are Lee. Way behind. I just built a new machine and had to install everything from scratch. ToonTracks was another PITA install for me. Mostly because I have so much of their stuff. And each product requires your attention to install and update. EVERY SINGLE ONE!! However, they have a really good d/l manager. So it all gets d/l and installed correctly the first time. No time wasted trying to figure out if you have the latest installs. No need to unzip anything. And when I am ready to install again, just sign back into the d/l manager so I don't have to bkup. Now, with IK it was a Major PITA because of all the stuff I had to look up, check and make sure I had the correct and updated installers d/l. Then after d/l all the stuff, I had to unzip everything, then install EVERY SINGLE package. Like I said before, I had to click 9x for every install. There was over 60 of them!! I didn't do it all in one day. No way. I spread it out over many days over a two week period. But that is just insane in this day and age of installers. For all the bi**hen I do about PA, they had about the best install package. Log in, choose your products with one click, choose to d/l and install with one click, done!! UA stuff was the same way.

I was thinking more in the line of Basses. Alembic, Yamaha, Warwick.... Even different type of stand up basses. Maybe have Geddy playing a stand up bass!! Yeah! I could see that! : )
-
Same here Peter. I went through the process all the way to logging into my PayPal account (all I had to do was hit Complete to finish the purchase) and was still being charged $99. edit: Sent in a support request.

Now I understand. A standalone version. Yeah that would be nice!! IIRC, this was one of the beefs people had with ARC for a while now. Maybe 3.5?
-
Oh. Didn't pick up on that. I got Melodyne too. Good point.
-
No. I haven't learned in all these years!! : )
-
Not understanding this. When I correct the response in the room with ARC, wouldn't that be system wide?
-
Exactly what I was thinking. : ) Superior Drummer 3 has Audio to Midi conversion. You see the price of that program. I am thinking they are surely gonna want over $200 for it.
-
My bad. I own ST4MAx and I keep thinking incorrectly that I got it with the TSMax bundle. But I didn't. So my mistake. Sorry
-
Joe, I went looking at my Sample Tank folders and found that my Sample Tank 2 folder was empty!! So apparently, they do get moved when they get imported.
-
For about the same money you can get it all!!
-
Once it's all done, you will be pleased. You got a great deal. Congratulations!! : )
-
It is much appreciated Peter. And it's says something about the company too. They are listening. And that makes a whole lot of difference. Thanks for the detailed info on the differences in the mics that came with different versions of ARC. I have the one with the orange ring on the bottom so I will probably go with the software update. I need correction, but not real critical.

No, the limits are back on again. I reached my limit shortly after it came back on. I wanted to give a thanks to Peter and couldn't. And wanted to like your post just now and couldn't. Agree about it being ridiculous.
-
Yeah, I have been told many times to "shut up and go sit in the corner!!" ?
-
Ah.. it let me add a Laugh emoti to your post mibby!!!
-
Never realized there was a limit. What da....

I have all my sounds still too. But somewhere I lost track of where I kept them, and I had to cough up for the d/l fee to d/l them again. Then when I went through all my bkup drives I noticed I had redundants!! I still have my zip files, and have them all bkup on different drives. Mostly because I don't want to have to sit through all the damn d/l again!!! : ) And now that I have cleaned up all my bkup drives, and have it all organized, IK will come out with a d/l and install program with unlimited d/l of all the files!! Yep, just my luck. : )
-
Yes that's my plan too. I have all my ST 2, 3, & 4 sounds in different folders all on the same drive. When I get some time gonna see if I can eliminate that ST2 folder.
