  1. Great video as always @Chandler. And you are right, that video gave me enough info to get my mind going about what I could do with that thing! @User 905133 I always use Melda's VST3 in CbB.
  2. And neither am I. Just stating what looks obvious to me. I have dogged PA ever since they came out with this subscription plan/bs. But after looking at this plan and the plugins included, I got to give them props for a good plan. To be honest, if more plugin companies did this, the playing field might change.

    New Audio Mixing Site

Sounds interesting. Will check it out. My mixing skills could shure use some help!!
  4. I was wondering what you could do with the $99 voucher. Will you be able to use it on the next subscription? What's the purchase requirement to use the voucher? IOW, what strings are attached? In fact, that' why I went to read about it on the website and saw the other info. But nothing on the strings attached to the voucher. edit: Thinking more about this, I wouldn't hesitate to recomend this plan to someone new to mixing/mastering and was wanting to try some stuff out. You could get this plan, then take some lessons read some books on how to use these tools over the course of the year. You could get some extremely good experience in that year using some top notch plugins. And for that price... it's a really good deal. You get the Neve and SSL console strips. You also get two great Lindell plugins, along with the 3 SPL plugins. Oh and the Townhouse and the Blackbox. You could get your money's worth out of that. I could see many more ways others would be inclined to use this plan. This subscription plan could catch on. It's hard to deny the value for your money on this one. Even without the $99 voucher.
  5. Thanks Jesse!! It was an exciting day.... what can I say!! : )
  6. Agreed. I'll give them this, they never gave up on that subscription plan. And looking at these plugins that are included, I gotta give 'em props, that's a good deal. I went and read the terms, and they say that if they remove a plugin from the bundle, they will give you a forever license for free so that you can still open projects made with that plugin. Not a bad deal there. I'm not for a plugin subscription. But if I was just getting into this, I have to admit this would look attractive.
  7. But also be aware that if you sell something, they will take the Jam points you earned for that product from your Jam Point balance. Even if that creates a NEGATIVE balance! Yep, ask Larry. (I'm still laughing about that one!!)
  8. I grew to really like it. In fact I still use it on my Surface Pro. It's a smaller install than the huge sound set that comes with ST4.
  9. No he must not have!! ? edit: OMG! He's one of them!! : ) Just kidding of course Reid!
  10. Did anyone hit the limit today?
  11. That's what I said way back in the thread. I wasn't kidding either!! Yes Lee, you are doing it right. Your doing it the only way you can. Count how many clicks ya gotta do for each one of those sound sets, or parts!! This is the ... well I have said it enough! But it sure is worth it. Or I wouldn't have done it! I gotta give them cred for being top notch in the sound and quality of the programs. From Amplitube to T-Racks to ST3. They are really good.
  12. Yes they are Lee. Way behind. I just built a new machine and had to install everything from scratch. ToonTracks was another PITA install for me. Mostly because I have so much of their stuff. And each product requires your attention to install and update. EVERY SINGLE ONE!! However, they have a really good d/l manager. So it all gets d/l and installed correctly the first time. No time wasted trying to figure out if you have the latest installs. No need to unzip anything. And when I am ready to install again, just sign back into the d/l manager so I don't have to bkup. Now, with IK it was a Major PITA because of all the stuff I had to look up, check and make sure I had the correct and updated installers d/l. Then after d/l all the stuff, I had to unzip everything, then install EVERY SINGLE package. Like I said before, I had to click 9x for every install. There was over 60 of them!! I didn't do it all in one day. No way. I spread it out over many days over a two week period. But that is just insane in this day and age of installers. For all the bi**hen I do about PA, they had about the best install package. Log in, choose your products with one click, choose to d/l and install with one click, done!! UA stuff was the same way.
  13. I was thinking more in the line of Basses. Alembic, Yamaha, Warwick.... Even different type of stand up basses. Maybe have Geddy playing a stand up bass!! Yeah! I could see that! : )
  14. Same here Peter. I went through the process all the way to logging into my PayPal account (all I had to do was hit Complete to finish the purchase) and was still being charged $99. edit: Sent in a support request.
  15. Now I understand. A standalone version. Yeah that would be nice!! IIRC, this was one of the beefs people had with ARC for a while now. Maybe 3.5?
  16. Oh. Didn't pick up on that. I got Melodyne too. Good point.
  17. No. I haven't learned in all these years!! : )
  18. Not understanding this. When I correct the response in the room with ARC, wouldn't that be system wide?
  19. Exactly what I was thinking. : ) Superior Drummer 3 has Audio to Midi conversion. You see the price of that program. I am thinking they are surely gonna want over $200 for it.
  20. My bad. I own ST4MAx and I keep thinking incorrectly that I got it with the TSMax bundle. But I didn't. So my mistake. Sorry
  21. Joe, I went looking at my Sample Tank folders and found that my Sample Tank 2 folder was empty!! So apparently, they do get moved when they get imported.
  22. For about the same money you can get it all!!
  23. Once it's all done, you will be pleased. You got a great deal. Congratulations!! : )
  24. It is much appreciated Peter. And it's says something about the company too. They are listening. And that makes a whole lot of difference. Thanks for the detailed info on the differences in the mics that came with different versions of ARC. I have the one with the orange ring on the bottom so I will probably go with the software update. I need correction, but not real critical.
