  1. I love the tracks and the MV itself.
  2. Your setup sounds spot-on for solo and group performances, especially considering the challenges of limited time and no sound check at community events. I completely get the simplicity angle – less fuss means more time for playing. The split stereo mix with bass on the left and drums/keyboards on the right is a clever solution, especially for your bluegrass, folk, and blues-oriented music with acoustic guitars, mandolin, and banjo. It's fantastic how you've tailored your setup to accommodate different scenarios and preferences. And that Radial DI box for laptops and iPads, with the mono toggle, seems like a handy tool, particularly for shows with a sound guy. Your approach to sending bass to a channel and auxiliary it to a bass amp, while keeping drums/keyboards low in the PA or in in-ears, makes a lot of sense. It's all about finding that sweet spot for each element in the mix. Happy picking!
  3. I think this setup for electrical is more functional specially for gig nights.
  4. As an amateur banjo player, I'm excited to explore the recently acquired banjo library, touted as Indiginus's "most requested," and I anticipate it will meet the high standards characteristic of all Indiginus products.
  5. It's amazing how the choice of microphone can make such a difference, especially with an instrument like the bodhran. It's cool that your intuition about using a 57 proved to be spot-on, leading to a successful take and everyone leaving with smiles.
  6. The acoustic and all banjo placement is nice, though you might want to explore adjusting their dryness or volume. Overall, it's a very listenable track with cool lyrics — you've got something good going on here! Cheers!
  7. Thank you for sharing your collection of instruments, by the way, is that a mandolin?
  8. Thanks for the insights! Excited about the potential purchase. I enjoyed the free version and agree, Arturia's sound design is impressive. The $29 deal is tempting for unique strings. Your mention of Pigments has me curious. Despite a technical interest in synths, I lean towards acoustic, especially with the bodhran—it adds a unique touch. Appreciate your experiences; it's reassuring to connect over the charm of instruments like the bodhran amid the virtual options.
  9. Interesting way of sampling guitars. I bet this would add a lot of color and flair to live performances.
  10. Considering its compatibility with various iPad DAWs, I'll definitely give it a try for both drum sequencing and experimenting with melodies. Looking forward to exploring its capabilities!
  11. For recording guitar, the best option is miking the amp to capture the authentic sound, while using a line out or the amp's USB audio interface can be viable but might introduce noise issues and potentially render the amp's contribution pointless in certain situations.
  12. Have you tried emailing "customer service" already. You may not have the solution right away but that will definitely help the developer create updates to fix that bug.
  13. Hahaha. That's a very creative way to use your daw.
  14. Have you tried to work on frame drums like bodhran and traditional skin drums?
  15. It will eventually get. More power to you and your projects.
  16. Do you guys have any interest towards irish music?
