For YT & other streaming sites -9 through-14 LUfS would be fine if the mastered mix sounds good. -6 LUFS is very hot unless you're competing in the loudness war or going for that commercial genre placement.

I mentioned this in a post that got deleted. I started using this in the newly released Cubase 14 & it's very cool. Every daw should have it included.

NEW RELEASE: Ample China Traditional Percussion (Intro Price)
hsmusic replied to Jason Morin's topic in Deals
It sure is, sounds really good, very tight. -
I have Mercury, Abbey Road etc.. & it was $160.00 from everyPlugin.com

Makes perfect sense to list it this way since it's not a typical auction offering sellers a reserve option. He'll take the best offer & I'm guessing it will be sold soon. Shipping is high based on insurance.

No, I've rarely use it.

take a look, (you're not using Gain Match) you have the IN set at+0.4, the out at +5.6...double click them so they're both at 0db.

How much can a decent mastering engineer polish the overall mix?
hsmusic replied to T Boog's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Mastering isn't so much about polishing but making tracks translate on different systems. Also for balancing tracks of an album to make it cohesive. The price isn't necessarily reflective of the quality but the cost of the service determined by the individual or company. -
Try setting both your in/out sliders to 0db , then adjust your gain. Looks like the out is about +4..

I think they did a great job on this one. Not the same as Soothe but for my purposes replaces it. Lightweight, easy to set up w/good results.. hope the other modules tbr are just as useful.

I think it's a smart move on their part, they'll do much better selling it at this price point. I don't recall this happening too often with plugins releases. At least their refunding the previous orders so that's encouraging. I tried the new version & while nice there's something not quite right going on with it on my system. Plus it still takes a long time to load & the cpu is high.

Any plugins similar to Mastering the Mix "Bass Space" feature?
hsmusic replied to GTsongwriter's topic in The Coffee House
Trying using LPF/ HPF that have a Listen node type feature or isolate freq. ranges then use you ear to balance the mix. Analyzers are fine but don't necessarily translate into better mixes because of the way its looks. -
Included in Mercury or you can pick it up it for $35.23 at PluginDiscounts.
