Excellent songwriting as always..I hear the drum track being slid about minus 10-30 ticks or so..(the mix sounds good but my ears have problems with the processing you're using, a psychoacoustic- spatial-width type plugin.. but that's just me)

( I assume you're talking audio, not midi files using their vi's) Have the other musicians send you their tracks & mix it yourself..you don't need to worry if they have CW or any daw at all.

There is one in prefs..I stopped using the auto-save years ago after it once corrupted a file (started saving while editing). I use crtl+s, muscle memory at this point or after making any serious adjustments or edits.

Enjoyed it, nice vibe on this..heard a bit of distortion but that might be by design... I would suggest taking that 2 bar breakdown at 1:17 & use it as an into & also for the end of the song.

I don't think there's much of it on the title track although Herbie Hancock plays on it. Been years since I listened to it, not one of my favs..

Actually I meant the synth sounds on Magical Shepard, the tunes are very mid 70's fusion, not for everyone's tastes. IIRC I think he used a 360 Spectre guitar synth.

Starting around 1998 I'm currently sifting through 400 or so including finished songs w/o tracking, ideas & outright crap! Then I have a few hundred in my current projects folders that need to be finished up. I don't plan on releasing too many, mainly backing up from old hard drives before they get corrupted!

i had the first release of this but switched to SonarWorks...Does this still need to be set up accurately or have they changed the measurement set-up? I had to measure using a plumb bob & markings on the floor otherwise it sounded pretty bad.

Two songs having the same LUFS doesn't necessarily mean they will sound the same level. E.G. a soft ballad might have a higher LUFS than a rock track in a mastered album for continuity. (or the other way around)

Nice ear candy landscapes, tinges of Weather Report & Vitous's Magical Shepard on this.

Great track, esp. liked how the bass line pushed the groove along, low & fluid.
