  1. Very Nice! Ah via Musicom is one of my top 3 albums. Eric's talent is unreal! And I hadnt heard that Fields of Gold cover. Her voice is beautiful. And Stings melodies in that song are almost spiritual. It feels heavenly. I've always loved Fields of Gold.
  2. Yes! This is one of my favorites too. It brings back special memories of rocking my kids to sleep 😴
  3. Hang in there man. You may still have a couple great songs in you. And if not, there's always the option of plagiarism πŸ€”
  4. Not at all. If it's music and u love it, that's all that matters. Btw, that's why I posted this thread. I was curious to see the varied responses. I was also curious if anyone would have a favorite that's uptempo or even rocking. So far, Seven Wonders is the most uptempo. I myself have always played mostly Rock & Hard Rock yet my favorite songs are all ballad type songs. The ballads just seem to reach deeper.
  5. Absolutely! One of my faveorites too. Heartfelt & clever lyric writing with beautiful music & melodies. And his bridges are MASTERFUL. Like the bridge in this song and "My Life". They're very long bridges that slowly and beautifully unfold with advanced chord changes. You can't fake that. That takes lots of talent & musical vision.
  6. I swear, I was just waiting for someone to say Paul tanked the lyrics on purpose! πŸ˜‚
  7. Yeah, great storytelling there. With those great Eagles harmonies. Actually 'Best of my Love' is one of my all time favorites. There's a reason theyve sold so many dang albums.
  8. Yeah, a young Stevie Nicks is always nice to look at 😍. (Im sory, was there other people in the video?)
  9. Yeah, cool read. Still not a big fan of the silver girl line but Im glad to know it had personal meaning to Paul. That gives it some depth. And interesting that Art sang the third verse first. It actually makes sense. He had to see how big it would be to know how delicate to sing the other verses. Very cool, Thanks πŸ˜‰
  10. anyone you wouldn't YOU pwallie. I expect nothing less than perfection from you. But only because I know ur capable of it πŸ‘
  11. I didn't know that. ...Still a weak line though πŸ˜„
  12. Artistically speaking, yes. As far as him being difficult to work with... Hey, I didn't raise him! 😁
  13. I hear u. I think it'd still be great without the 3rd verse. My bigger problem, and I hate saying this cause it's my favorite song, is I feel the 3rd verse lyrics could be better. "Sail on silver girl"... that never really floated my boat πŸ˜‰. Not to mention, he turned from a bridge into a sailboat. It never quite worked for me. "Im sailing right behind, like a bridge.." He shoulda just stuck with bridge similes. But Paul admitted he liked to write slowly and they were obviouly already in studio, short on time. So I cut him some slack. But I really wish the 3rd verse was the strongest verse to really knock it out the park(like the climaxing music is begging for). Yeah, for me, those lyrics could be better.
  14. I think that very freedom is what helped keep people loyal. Forced loyalty is just oppression and pushes people away (The song "Hold On Loosely" comes to mind). You can tell the moderator(s) are now trying to walk that line. I just hope they dont self sabotage by gripping too tightly. I'll gladly use an inferior daw if that happens. Cause they can take my Cakewalk but they'll never take... MY FREEDOM!!!!!!! πŸ—‘οΈ (Oorah! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ)
  15. I just asked my brother and my daughter their favorites. They both gave good ones. My brother said American Pie by Don McLean and my daughter said The Rain Song by Led Zep. (glad my daughter has good taste πŸ˜‰)
  16. Cheers paulo. Here's a couple vids I think u might like. They give some peeks behind the curtain of the writing & recording of it...
  17. Led Zep, Stairway to Heaven (Anyone ever heard this song? πŸ™ƒ)
  18. Fair enough. Maybe next thread I'll keep it simple. Like "Ginger or Mary Ann?" πŸ˜‰
  19. Oh... Sory craig. That one flew right over me ✈️ πŸ™„
  20. I say we go with "Wolf Pakk". You'll be Amberwolf, I'll be Graywolf, Rick will be Sapphirewolf(🀣). And don't worry about the singing. We'll replace ur voice with AI. For live performances, we'll have to lip sync anyway cause our dance choreography will be VERY demanding. So yeah, as long as u can dance like Chris Brown, u have nothing to worry about πŸ‘
  21. When I said "from your past", I didn't mean quite THAT far. Come on craig, surely u have a favorite song or two? Btw I do know some people don't have a favorite and never cared to narrow it down. If ur in that camp, I can respect that tooπŸ‘
  22. It must be hard wolf. But u know what, just for being so humble about ur looks, Im letting u in the band buddy! Heck, I even got a name for us... "The Night Stallions" But I got dibs on soprano cause I have an amazing falsetto range. I make Barry Gibb sound like Barry White. Ps. We can even pratice at ur house. I have a very loud PA. It'll be great revenge on ur neighbors πŸ™‰
  23. Somehow a "man band" sounds somewhat...medical. I prefer the term "Adult Boy Band"! U know what Xoo, maybe ur just jealous cause ur not as man-pretty as me & Rick. Tell u what, message me some head & body shots. If ur pretty enough, I MAY let u have an audition. Just rem, we perform shirtless. So no beer belly and all body hair must be waxed πŸ¦„ ...😜
  24. I love Elton but I hadn't heard this song. I just listened and yeah, it's beautiful. I see why u love it.
