I uninstalled, re-downloaded, re-installed, and it still looks for the dongle. Hopefully this first experience with support goes well but I could imaging they're getting lots of inquiries at -

No love with the dongle at my end. Keeps prompting me saying its found a license and needs the associated USB device. Just sent a note to support. -

No change from before. Hopefully they'll put some money into the platform; there's good tones to be found but it definitely needs repackaging. -

OK - thanks, Larry. I'll have to give this a go when I get home. I've looked around the site to see what is included now in the base version but don't see one. -

Revalver was always "free" if I recall correctly, offering a few of the many amps/pedals for all. The demo "D" has been there all along, as well as the demo beeping. Not sure if anything has actually changed here, outside of ownership. -
Black Sun by Dead Can Dance. Mic drop. OK, maybe not. Sounds like sleigh bells, but not sure. It's close. I'll pick the mic back up.

I went a little bonkers and may delete this post to hide the evidence. IK Total Studio 2 Max earlier in the month (which I regret as its way too much for my needs. Selling on KVR for cheap!) AXE I/O (which, with bundled software, is all I really need from IK at the moment) Neural DSP Plini (thanks for coordinating, Zo!) Instachord and Instascale Scalar Soundspot Union

Thanks, Larry - that's the list for FX2, which I was able to find. After some sleuthing, the AMP 2 list was discovered: https://help.positivegrid.com/hc/en-us/articles/205974263-Preset-Model-List

Anyone know where on earth PG hide the list of amps for BIAS AMP 2?
-
I had demos of all the guitar amps, Zo, and went back and forth between Nolly and Plini. In the end, Plini won out in the final round I (thanks for allowing the late switch!). I really like the darker high gain rhythm tones in Plini and the clean tones are unbelievably good. The clean head and reverb pedal are instant magic together. I tried to get the same quality of clean sound out of Nolly, but it was just...different. The Plini reverb pedal provides a lot more control than Nolly's. Nolly is more flexible in the number of amps and cabs but I just found the tones in Plini too unique to not get as my first taste of Neural DSP. I'm on the fence about picking up Nameless in your next group buy, mostly because I'm tapped out for BF. It would be a great complement to any of the Neural plugins because, well, high gain in truckloads.

This was a great deal a couple of months ago when it was about the same price. I ended up selling most of it and made some BF $$$ in the process.

Between Larry and Zo, we're on a 24-hour GAS cycle. Very dangerous.
-
I'm in. Nolly is still too much at almost $100. STL sale is nicer at 40% across the board.
-
Now that it looks like I missed their allotment of serial numbers, I want this even more!!!!!! Funny how that works.

Ordered at dinner last night....still AWOL.

I must have ordered after 5:00 PM PST so hopefully the code will get here tomorrow.

How do you buy JUST the original version (not Inside Out)? I can't find a link or price anywhere. Only price is for Inside Out or the combo of both.

Neural dsp Plini and Nolly (video) : beware , don't try them !!
Marc Cormier replied to Zo's topic in Deals
I'd have to agree, Zo. Once I got the STL Howard Benson plugin, I started looking at these smaller, more focused plugins in a whole new light. For the time it would save me and the quality of the sounds it could provide, I might just spend the money for Nolly at list. KVR has done me well, though. STL Howard Benson was only $70, no fees. For Neural DSP, the cost for each amp is not unlike Nembrini's when they were on sale... -

Zo, this is a great review. Really enjoyed the walkthrough and felt my wallet getting a little lighter with every example. I appreciate you trying to warn us ahead of time but... -
Hi Mesh. I had the same type of issue with the demo some months ago and it never did work. It was sitting in my iLok Manager as a deactivated trial for months. It was a bit of a leap of faith to buy without trying but no regrets. Still thinking about Bias FX 2 - it sounds like they've worked out some of the kinks which is great to hear!
