  1. I usually hate subscription plans, but that price isn't so bad, would be even better if there's a $2.09 / month plan. That's more affordable. The only problem is, I own Melodyne Studio 5 and have no use for any other Autotune software. I'm however interested in the Mic Mod, but it doesn't show a list of supported Mics. Antarestech's ability to lie by omission is uncanny. Why even say you have such a plugin without explaining it fully? Do you think we are a bunch of idiots? Maybe they their target group are idiots? Who knows?
  2. 3 months for 99 cents, but that changes to the unaffordable It's not cheap, see photos for the real deal information:
  3. Subscription plans are for professionals whom make money doing this... For us hobbyist, it isn't worth the money.
  4. I'm going to have to thank cclarry for the post on PNY, cause it had me look for a better brand at a lower cost. PNY is a budget brand, and I guess it was luck I stumbled on Western Digital which is a well known higher tier brand and it's external!
  5. Hi. My windows install is over seven years old, and it's way over due for a fresh windows install. I'm curious which plugin companies require I deactivate their license on this windows install to activate on the new windows install?
  6. Should I get or save money for something better? Currently doing everything on headphones, but also don't have any sound treated room. If I was to treat my room, know of a cheap way to do it?

  8. Your right. Chord Gun. For some reason, I do remember having a "Panda" jsfx, but I'll have to check again later when I'm on the computer to see what it was. Since both jsfx scripts deal with the same category, it's why I get them mixed up a lot.
  9. I should have gotten Clarity VX original when it was on introduction sale. It has never came back to the introduction sale price since they've gotten it!
  10. It's okay, though... I have Chord Panda on Reaper and it's free. I own both Cakewalk Sonar Producer 8.5 and Reaper.
  11. Scaler 2 is 1gb download. They include "samples" which is a sound file they use for their voices of the instrument. Kind of like how Kontact works. I'd rather that they create a version that more light weight without that extra files I don't need. I'm sure that Scaler can be used to use my own plugins like Kontact by sending midi to it.
  12. I'm avoiding Scaler 2 with a passion. If they want me to get Scaler, they need to make a version without samples.
  13. That sucks, it would have been the first plugin that I would have actually installed from Plugin Alliance, LoL.
  14. I thought, when you said that, it would be #6 and not #5.
  15. Hi, I can't seem to find any good review on YouTube, except for those who's genres don't align with mine. I tend to create Rock and Country based music. What's your opinions on the KRK GoAux, especially since those speakers can "tune themselves" to your room acoustics with a included microphone? (I think the GoAux 4 was the only one to have the Mic.)
  16. The only bad thing about replacing ear pads is how they change the sound of the headphones. I've read review after review (I never read the perfect reviews, nor the one star reviews. I read in-between the lines) on this and the originals made by Sony's approved third party costs half the price of a new headset. So, I'm vary wary of changing them. It's one of the reasons I was thinking of getting a new set of cans. I'll keep the old ones for referencing, but other than that, I think I should get a new set. I currently use NX GERMANO studio from Waves Audio and I've got the Bluetooth head attachment that works along with it for a 360 experience. It's pretty much the only plugin I use from Waves Audio now since the subscription scare. As far as Microphones, I guess I can save and wait cause I think picking a microphone is going to be much harder than a headset. I don't have a big budget, as I'm a hobbist producer. I do however want to make great sound recording of my songs. I'm the one man band, so to speak.
  17. So, my best bet is to use the Sony MDR-7506 closed back headphones when recording a vocal and get a open back headphones for doing all things in Cakewalk?
  18. Buy the upgraded Headphones first or the upgraded microphone?
  19. I don't see him even hinting to referencing here.
  20. I was thinking about the DT 700 pro x because the impedance is very low..48 ohms vs ndh 20s at 150 ohms. I've also heard some people having trouble even hearing the ndh 20s on their Focusrite Solo. I was kind of worrying if Focusrite couldn't push the headset, I'd also need to buy a amp for the headphones, lol. Edit: With your thoughts, it might be better to get the DT 700. I'm only worried about beyerdynamic's headphones having extra high EQ on their headsets that people talk about on the forums. Although, I may not worry about it if it's in Waves Audio's NX GERMANO plugin, as the emulation should flatten the headphones.
  21. OWN: Sony MDR 7506 Headphones Audio Technica 2050 microphone WANT: Neumann NDH 20 Slate Digital VMS ML - 1 Modeling Microphone My headphones are flaking, but they still work. The microphone still works. Both are over 10 years old. Edit: For a home studio, no treated room, no studio monitors. The studio is mobile sometimes in different untreated places, like a RV.
