I do mix mainly on headphones, but I tend to miss how much bass is coming out of the song. So, I listen using Yamaha HS5s for bass comparison. They help me avoid creating a song with "too much rumble". I once mixed a song using headphones only, took it to a brand new mini van, and it rumbled so horribly! I realized I had to get some monitors, so I could hear that, and prevent that! Once I got the monitors, I was able to correct the rumble!

Yeah... She did a live video stream today and I asked her about it. She says she didn't do anything special, other than harmonizing and layering vocals. So, I'm worried if I want the same effect, I might have to harmonize different or mess around with Melodyne to see if I can get that effect. It's like as if there's a frequency shift or something. I might just go crazy and really make it sound alien. On a different topic.... (About Cover songs and how she feels...) I asked her about my friend wanting to cover her song. She says only to put the cover song on YouTube and no where else. I really shouldn't have asked, as my friend wants to put it everywhere, especially since he's got to pay for a mechanical license and royalties! Why limit to just YouTube? Should he just go ahead, pay the license fees, and ignore the author's request OR just pay the license fees and put it on YouTube Music? Legally, he can put it everywhere, but it'll make the author of the song not happy. Not sure what to tell him to do. Because of the language barrier, she might not understand what I was asking or that she'd get paid for it?

I would like to know how ya'll think it was created... I have several thoughts and ideas, but nothing has fruited me any real results... like offsetting 2 vocals of different frequenies doesn't seem to create the effect... It does sound like the vocal is doubled with the "alien vocal" slightly in the background voice. Without sounding like it's a vocoder. Is it a special effect or the way it was sung... is it possible to recreate using just Melodyne? Despite her Live Streams on YouTube. Maybe she doesn't like part of my name "El Diablo" and is religious or something, cause none of my questions are making it thru to her. Or maybe she wants to keep it secret. Or my English is bad? Either way... can y'all help? So.... How to create Alien like vocal (without sounding like a vocoder) from the example provided? If it's a VST3, then even better! Less work Much Thanks!

This recent Black Friday 2023? I've bought mine from JRRShop in April 2023.. And I've also bought 3 other plugins of Sonible. You'd think the upgrade would be free for any owner before Black Friday ? Maybe I'll just stop buying from Sonible. Speak with my money. There's thousands of other plugins developers. Plus, I already own plugins that practically do the same thing.

Do you get to keep your Smart EQ 3? In other words, Does the upgrade let you keep the old version and you have the new version too OR does it overwrite the old version forcing you to only have Smart EQ 4?

What was the price there?

I saw there was a give away around October of this year for MUnison. I figured it'll happen again next year or sometime. When it happens, I'll buy a random plugin from them as a way of "Thanks".

To be honest, I have been eyeballing MUnison for awhile. I'm waiting on it to drop to Waves Audio Harmony sale price. I've already got Waves Audio Harmony, but I'm curious if MUnison is any better and since I'm a hobbyist musician, I'm trying to get it for what I can afford. (Edit: They gave it away??). So, I guess I can wait for freebie day... Whenever that is.

Once of the main reasons I don't use Melda Productions plugins is how similar they all appear to one an other. It makes it extremely hard on me to tell which plugin is which. Yes, I can read, but I would just like to look at the Plugin and just know what it does by appearance! I've got the free bundle from Melda Productions. It just sits in my plugin folder unused. The only thing I might find useful is thier notepad plugin. At least Waves Audio, despite how much some people hate them, created each plugin with a different visual, except the Renaissance versions which I hate to use for that reason!

Unless I'm buying a new Waves Plugins, I plan to not update.

Melda Productions could take a page or two from United Plugins. United Plugins has it so their plugins don't all look alike.

If they add more ways to EQ more than 6 tracks at the same time, I'm down for that! Currently the limit of the group is SIX! Meaning, if you have 6 plugins spread out on 6 tracks, that group will balance out the EQ together AND you can put the 3 levels deep front to back. I would love to see them have unlimited levels deep, and unlimited tracks in a group.

I can't think of anyone I know that has used Reason to create a song in production. I remember my friends telling me that Reason didn't have any way to load VST and other plugins... Curious if they ever added plugin feature?

Supposedly, a lot of Waves Audio plugins have been around for tens of years. I'm not ever going to worry about updating them. @mettelus I just can't get myself to enjoy using thier interface. The colors interfere with my colorful sight. I also got a super deal with Mastering The Mix FUSER, RESO, and Expose for 104.55 USD. I demoed them before the test verses Soothe 2. If you have both RESO and FUSER, you'll beat Soothe 2 hands down. Splitting Soothe 2 into 2 separate plugins was genius! Thanks for the update on Melda Productions. I do like thier concept, but just can't get myself to like the interface/ GUI. I know people talk about themes they have, but I've not see any proof.
