  1. From what I have read, most USB AI's are 2.0 because they use third party USB controllers and the manufacturers of those haven't seen the need to upgrade to 3.0. Which begs the question, what do RME use?
  2. They are on the 8Dio website as individual products.
  3. It still works on a few things apparently but not the BBC stuff. Symphony Orchestra is still £280.76 .
  4. Wow, it's getting so cut throat right now with all these large legacy makers putting out these very cheap bundles.
  5. macOS and CP/M only. By the time you have finished installing it on CP/M via floppies, version 12 will be out.
  6. Not from my recent experience. I had a subscription with Readly which gives access to 100s of magazines and was able to access the Beat serial numbers and downloads. They aren't that interesting unless you are starting out, like free samples and don't have much money. I wouldn't subscribe to Beat for the free stuff and I don't need to anyway as I can access it via my local library online. I just accessed the BEAT freebies today to get Beatzille. I suspect I will enjoy that more than the paid stuff they give away.
  7. If you buy via this method, how can you access the actual magazine to read it, as opposed to just grabbing the free software? I wouldn’t want to have to download a PDF and read that on my tablet, so it needs an app.
  8. 10% OFF STOREWIDE FOR LIMITED TIME! USE CODE CINCO10 A Code ends in about 22 hours.
  9. Looks like I picked the right week to quit buying glue plugins! https://i.imgflip.com/2zfikc.jpg
  10. Keep in mind that you can get the full session bundle for ten bucks or less on KVR etc.
  11. Windows NOT supported. iLok 2 or 3 is required for authorization
.
  12. I have one also for the Artist plan, although I'm not sure that I am worthy of that title!
  13. There’s a lot of negativity around him on KVR and he may even be banned there!
  14. My experience is that I have been sent spam from him from a half a dozen or so different email addresses over a period of about 4 years. I can't think of any other developers that do anything remotely similar. I have heard others stating things that bring into question other ethical issues but the spam is bad enough alone to warrant warning people. There is so much decent free software out there that I can't see the point of getting involved with companies that behave like this. I wish him well, no hard feelings, but I feel that it's appropriate to inform people. People can then make their own decision with more info at hand.
  15. iLok2 or later USB Authorization Required
  16. Yes. I picked up the piano cheaply on KVR and my upgrade is 99. I think the bundle is good value but probably not in Heavyocity territory which is fine given the price differential.
  17. Are they naming these plugins after Presedential candidates? Looking forward to the Hush Puppy noise removal tool.
  18. Does Console 1 Mk II work with Native UAD plugins?
  19. "Softube has released another update to its popular Console 1 Mixing System which includes the ability for users to load and control FabFilter and UADx plugins directly from Console 1 Channel Mk III, as well as Console 1 Mk I and Mk II, without the need for mapping. "
  20. This is included along with 4 other plugins in the Komplete 14 Ultimate PA bundle. You will see people selling these for $30 or less. https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/bundles/komplete-14-ultimate/plugin-alliance-additions/
  21. They've been doing subs for years now, so this version was available as a sub from the start. It's not unusual to see other companies offer subs on Humble either.
  22. They aren't going to give you a one year sub to the latest version, which has only been out a few months. They always sell old versions via Humble and no reason it can't be the same for a sub.
