Be aware that a lot of the recent NI updates are making old Kontakt 6 libraries only work with K7. They only require the free Player version, but a lot of people have been having issues with K7, so keep this in mind if you’re the cautious type. I'm sure that a lot of the issues have been sorted by now but why take the risk if you don’t see an upside. They are often adding NKS2 support too, if that gets your interest.

I belive so as you are buying one year of updates from whenever you register it, for the next 12 months. So you aren't buying an upgrade from a particular version, so the price is the same regardless.

I had looked at the Loop Loft bundles in the past but they were always more than I was prepared to spend on these sort of samples. But the Yurt Artist Series Bundle at under $80 was finally in my zone. Probably not quite as interesting as the Loop Loft equivalent, but hard to really quantity that, but the price difference was significant. A lot of similar artists including Charlie Hunter, who is one of the major attractions for me.
