Track freeze didn't exist at the time for the sessions I've been opening (some sessions I didn't work on in the 1st place), and some of the routing that wouldn't really recall properly (you'll have to trust me on this one). This will be a bigger concern with all the Atmos and 360RA mixes we are having to recall and port over since often "stems" weren't commonly printed back in the day. It's been this way for years. IK knows about it. Avid knows about it. The forums have heard me belly moan about it. I think the mentality is "Meh, there's new versions- just use them instead of this vaporware...". This would be fine, except for the recalls (and shakey confidence that this won't happen with other IK products in the future). This also means if I launch a session where someone used it, I have to open the session with all plug in's disabled, and reable them skipping the Amplitube3's and some of those plug in's might have been disabled in the original session. The irony is that I keep this plug in in my plug in's folder and have set up a macro on my streamdeck that launches the plug in (it crashes in Audiosuite as well) if I want to force a bathroom break in the middle of a session.

Off topic Side-quest request: Please update Amplitube3. I know it's old. That's the point. I cannot recall songs I worked on 10 years ago without it instantly crashing (ANY version of) Pro Tools.

After install it crashed Pro Tools on launch. I tried this on a 2nd rig, and the same thing happened. A peer had the same issue with a earlier version of software. Finally got it to work and noticed issues with the 40hz bell being set to 18hz (this issue was fixed with the update). Not exactly a 'bug' but, 120hertz is also a bit higher (around 130), 18K being more 16k, and 28K being more 24k (along with some other bizarre behavior I haven't been able to reproduce with the update). There's a meter issue where the gain reduction doesn't show on the meters sometimes (when you can clearly hear it working aggressively), you close the plug in window and open it and it usually starts working properly again. The plug in automation parameters show up a bit weird too. Look where they put the blend compared to the sat parameter that it literally surrounds in the GUI. Sure, not the end of the world, but........... That said, once you've dialed in your gain structure, it does seem to be pretty full and smooth.
