  1. Same. I can use the bottom of the line stuff from them, but would be stoked on something better. I find myself hoping it takes longer to get here with the theory being that it's the big mic locker bundle. I own over half their line.
  2. I got real excited about the Spitfire Audio reverb for $69.00 but realized it's an "essential" version of the $350 one. Considering it, but I don't know if it's too crippled at a price I wish the big version was set at.
  3. just a warning... these things are very microphonic. If you use them as distance mics, they are decent, even good imo. But on vocals, which is the main application, they can suffer in this department. If you lightly tap them, you'll hear ringing. First time I heard it on a guitar amp, I thought it was the acoustic guitars in the live room somehow being picked up. Shame. If you get one, I suggest distance micing as much as you can get away with.
  4. Still no search function? I went through a lot getting my libraries auth'd last time. I'm gonna hold off updating until I see some braver people make the jump.

    UVI Shade for $29

Also a free gift... Gave me the choice of the cheaper Sonible Desser and WA Heat.
  6. My crossgrade from 8 on their site is $199. Add RNBO + $299 on top. I used this for a proof of concept project. If you aren't very familiar with Ableton, or aren't really quick at picking things up, I'd steer clear. It can do a ton of stuff- some things you haven't imagined yet. But I consider the learning curve to be a bit high, as much as they've done a good job of making as simple as possible.
  7. On their site: https://www.zynaptiq.com/intensity/ On Sale! USD 99/EUR 99
  8. I'll likely use this with the signal flow going modern (for corrective) -> vintage (for creative) most of the time. It's hard not to compare Modern to FabFilter. Having dynamic bands there is nice. I guess it can save us an insert point. Maybe it's more CPU efficient. Throwing MS processing in there. Is this why this exists?
  9. I have all their Eqs and a console unit. Someone explain this to me like a 5 year old that hasn't had his coffee yet.
  10. I've long considered this Softube's worst. Unless you like your guitars to sound like whales dry humping in the backseat of a Daewoo in a dairy queen parking lot after hours.

    PA 4 for $49.99

I understand it. The thing that's annoying to me is that there should be a link showing only what's included in the sale, and it should show you what you already own.
  12. I already own it, but was in the process of copping it for another machine when they fixed it. Nice score if anyone got it.
  13. Should be an extra 10% off anything with this link: https://www.fabfilter.com/shop?code=K25_FmAuPsz9M6nWtZqXj8PWgnpLF3vL
  14. For me... 180 for BG vocals. Sometimes leads with the mix down. 361 for everything else in need of pixie dust. around 90% of the time. Don't sleep on the comp in the 361. Surprisingly good for a one knob. Scribbles are basically for vanity.
  15. Between the Maag(!), Amek, the Soma, the Tomo, the Natalus, the 9k, the amek again, the Shadow Hills, the Black Box, the Iron, the Amek Again, Knif, Lisa... This is a pretty incredible deal. I copped it just in case it was a mistake and I recently had to go crazy using my F29 vouchers.
  16. Neural DSP Birthday Sale 50% off April 25th to May 7th Kinda on the pricey side.
  17. I'm seeing... 17. https://blackoctopus-sound.com/product/event-horizon-for-john-bowen-solaris/ 18. https://blackoctopus-sound.com/product/ilkay-sencans-secret-lab-vol-1/ 19. https://blackoctopus-sound.com/product/blackwarp-bass-house-vol-1/ 20. https://blackoctopus-sound.com/product/the-kraken-vol-1-dubstep-serum-presets/ (assuming Serum presets with drum hits count) That complete the set?
