They are charging a shipping fee, so I'd assume it's phys.

Sterling Audio ST151 Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
e-cue replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I'm not sure the difference between the 151 and the 150, but something to consider for $10 more. Sterling Audio SP150/130 Studio Condenser Microphone Pack $79.99 -
They'll sometimes add a 'free' one onto one of the bundles. Re; the "Pick any 2" comes with 3 total and often at a sale price. Stop me if you already know this. I usually average them between $75-$100 pre plug in, but I tend to fill up on their stuff. Right now, the ones I'd like that I don't already own are the Dmx, C-Suite, the Api Pre/Channel strip, The newer SSL quad comp (I still haven't gotten around to upgrading), and that's about it. I either own or rent the other stuff at PA, so when I do a bundle, I tend to cop some guitar amps or something that are cool but definitely not a necessity.

They did have this holiday sale last year. The larger custom bundles meant a better deal. I'm guessing you can add it to a bundle during their BF sale, if they have one (UAD is on my BF list). Either way, paying $300 for this would be a chump move. I know UAD has been working on this for years to get it right. I'm real excited to try it out, but I'll probably drag my feet on a demo till we get closer to the inevitable sales.

$159.00

If you subscribe to their email, you get a link for 35% off making it $96.85. Seems pricey for a meter plug in, but the ability to link to other devices like multiple iPads is kinda neat.

Leapwing Audio UltraVox $49 (until December 6th 2021) Doesn't require iLok- I just had to enter my email and serial on launch of the plug in.
-
Best Buy, Dell, Sweetwater... price matched. Might wanna check the others if you have any other 'points' or stackable promos that are better than amazon.

Good question. I have several Mercury (and some others; SSL bundle, Abbey Road, NX, freebies, etc) bundles but jumped on this because we always have new rigs, and the powers that be don't want to give up the auth's on the other iLoks for the new rigs. Cheap solution to a dumb problem. I'd be happy to sit on this auth till the time comes that I need to install it.

https://www.eventideaudio.com/plug-ins/spliteq/ $179 $99 Eventide might not be the first name in EQ (unless you have a Dipper and need that 'telephone effect'), but watching the video demo has me intrigued. Being able to pan tone to one side, and transient to the other could be useful to have in one package like this but I worry about it sounding like a steamy pile of phasey artifact turd. I'll have to demo when things slow down here before I pull the trigger.
-
It would only make sense, since I just WUP'd everything across all our rigs for $889.99 with Koby's big discounts.
-
$1.39 per plug in, if my math is correct... You kids got it so easy. Back in my day, I paid over $10k for Mercury + SSL snowing uphill bothways.
-
I mean, it could be worse, right? Waves could release another redone version of the SSL E/G channel strips and bone everyone over with WUP again. But they'd never do that, right? RIGHT?! remember this post for posterity

brownchickenbrowncow.... Worked, Craig!

It looks like that's when they had the $50 promo that Larry posted. I'll give it a shot and report back if I get the same offer.
