  1. thanks for the vid link. I'll have to check out dude's band. great run down. the SH101 is one of those things i'm familar with but never seen in action in person. I really like the other softube keys. And I pull up Modular all the type just to dick around and explore patching and modules. I supposed if I had a dream synth for them to do, it'd be an Alesis Andromeda.
  2. Not seeing it. Maybe the last time I check the prices, they were on sale or something. Was this an email alert? Coupon code?
  3. I completely forgot about the Bluecat's MB-7 Mixer. I remember disliking the filters a lot on that one. Some plug in shoot outs might be in order. A $30 (or less) upgrade would've been nice for MP owners. I had a session up and this one seemed to address something I was trying to achieve with mults so I copped it. I'm in Pro Tools so I don't have some of the features that Ableton, or FruityLoops Patcher has (those users might find this plug in kinda useless). A 2nd downside to this for me as a PT user- no AAX support (I'm lookin at you Cranesong Phoenix) , so I'm limited to the AU and VST offerings. I'm still digging in but, it seems like you should be able to solo each band to listen to the specific processing you are applying. I consider this a major oversite. So, you can daisy chain 4 plug in's going into a 4 band crossover, that you can apply 4 plug in's per band, then you can daisy chain 4 plug in's after that. As a side note, MetaPlugin just got an (free) update that allows Mac Silicon users to use Intel plug ins. Pretty rad.
  4. MetaPlugin from DDMF is more similar to Patchwork. This seems to allow you to apply plug in's to specific ranges of audio on the same track.
  5. Superplugin 30% off with code:  SUPERINTRO
  6. 25' Pig Hog 8mm XLR Microphone Cable $8.95 shipped w/ Prime Built for the road- gurrrr!
  7. Not sure I understand your question. I hooked it up with the USB-C cable included directly into the mac. Compared to Samsung, Sandisk, Lacie... it performed poorly, both as a media drive and even to copy large-ish files for backup. Note: up to Up to 800MB/s. It's slower. Might be okay as a Time Machine backup.
  8. I love the look of it. It's priced fair. It's extremely simple to use. No manual required to dive in. I haven't run into any bugs/issues with it. The EQ is a simple hi shelf, 650 hertz mid bell, and a low shelf. Other plug in's (lookin' at Ozone here) may be able to give you the same results if you already own them with more control under the hood. Similar take on thge CLA mixdown , GregWells MixCentric, etc but I hate those. I copped this. I suggest running a demo to see if you dig it like I did. About that... the demo is only 5 days. Dumb.
  9. Code: 2022-05-25GS81TZiTw39 = extra $25 off makes it around $95. I use this a ton of synth pads.
  10. Nice. Cheaper than my upgrade through Waves and I own some nx stuff. I was waiting for this and at twelvefiddy a 'studio', I'm in. I'm hoping they branch out to Atmos with the headtracker, which is the true worth of nx IMHO. I've done 5.1 work on planes with it, quick recalls without having to setup my 5.1 rig (very helpful when my Avocets were having their convertors upgraded), etc.
  11. SUDOTACK cardiod USB mic, case, popfilter, mini stand... was $72.99 (lol) $29.20 with code 60DND3KN in checkout
  12. You're too kind. Tell ya what- if I win the 'everything' pack, I'll gift Clipper to you, since I already own it.
  13. There are some extreme phase issues you can hear on the examples this company posts. Listen to them, hit a mono button and marvel at all the sound that disappears. Even more important in the days of immersive mixing.
  14. Roli Seaboard2, engaged....
  15. Great idea. Put up a link Larry, and I'll edit my post.

  17. *fingers crossed for a free upgrade to smell-o-sound-schmos when it comes out a decade from now*
  18. maybe at 250% off for me... 25? I'll pass.
  19. Black Salt Audio Escalator $48 with code DYNAMICDUO Run the demo before you buy this. People have been hyping it a lot online, but it seems to break apart way too fast for me and the inability to tweak under the hood was a deal breaker for me. But hey- different strokes.
  20. *rage quits this world* thanks for the head's up.
  21. gone... up now: Mackie CR3-X 3" Powered Studio Monitors (Pair) Limited Edition Gold Trim $70.
