Not sure I understand your question. I hooked it up with the USB-C cable included directly into the mac. Compared to Samsung, Sandisk, Lacie... it performed poorly, both as a media drive and even to copy large-ish files for backup. Note: up to Up to 800MB/s. It's slower. Might be okay as a Time Machine backup.

I've used this drive. It's slow for an SSD, ime.

I love the look of it. It's priced fair. It's extremely simple to use. No manual required to dive in. I haven't run into any bugs/issues with it. The EQ is a simple hi shelf, 650 hertz mid bell, and a low shelf. Other plug in's (lookin' at Ozone here) may be able to give you the same results if you already own them with more control under the hood. Similar take on thge CLA mixdown , GregWells MixCentric, etc but I hate those. I copped this. I suggest running a demo to see if you dig it like I did. About that... the demo is only 5 days. Dumb.

Nice. Cheaper than my upgrade through Waves and I own some nx stuff. I was waiting for this and at twelvefiddy a 'studio', I'm in. I'm hoping they branch out to Atmos with the headtracker, which is the true worth of nx IMHO. I've done 5.1 work on planes with it, quick recalls without having to setup my 5.1 rig (very helpful when my Avocets were having their convertors upgraded), etc.

There are some extreme phase issues you can hear on the examples this company posts. Listen to them, hit a mono button and marvel at all the sound that disappears. Even more important in the days of immersive mixing.
