Does anyone know the $? The hoop jumping on this just to find out the price is extremely lame.

The PQ allows you to choose between Constant q (sometimes referred to as Constant bandwidth) and Propotional q (sometimes referred to as Variable bandwidth) on each band. For Prop Q, the bandwidth varies inversely proportional to boost (or cut) amounts, being very wide for small boost/cut levels and becoming very narrow for large boost/cut levels. For Con Q, the bandwidth remains constant for all boost/cut levels. SSL E series is Con Q, and SSL G series is Prop Q. This is one of the main differences, but there are others like the layout, which I dislike, on the Pass. Honestly they just sound different (and are different) and I much prefer the PQ.

Co-sign. If I were to get one more analog EQ, this would be it. How sure how well they can model something with 120 volt rails, but love most of the PA stuff so....

It's tempting. I can use things like these when we have outside guests come to the studio and we need more like a bumpbox to take their headphone out. If I could use my Musician'sFriend rewards for it, I'd nab it.

Check the Vulf compressor if you haven't, especially if you work on Dilla style backpack music. I use their "MidSide" for using 2 channel hardware processors to do MS processing back itb. There are others out there, some free, but I prefer this or the Mathew Lane stuff for the added features. And while no one on the planet gets excited about dither, their dither plug in is fantastic for it.

The first reason that comes to my mind is that the Townshed Sphere mic system will be in direct competition with them. That said, I've enjoyed Bock's work since Soundelux. With UAD, I'll expect them to be overpriced, or striped way down and sold as a great value. I'm guessing overpriced.

I'm curious if Fleer has any thoughts on updating this plug in in the future.

Arrived. I grabbed the one I ordered for $39 that's supposed to be a 16 terrabytes SSD labelled "16T", plugged it in and everything seems to be working fiALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!!! I kid. I went offline and plugged the drive into a macbook and opened disk utility. So I formatted the drive and named it "Walmart Scam" then did a 'get info' on the drive. It looks to be the correct capacity. So I copied over a 20gig file from my desktop, because I wanted to exceed 16gigs in case that was the scam. It did copy over, so the capacity is at least over 20 gigs. There's no way this is a proper USB 3.1 SSD (see below) by real world standards. Extremely slow. Like, well over an hour to transfer the 20gb file. USB2.0 at best. Seriously, this is the slowest drive I've used in the past 30 years. I'll include AIT tape backups with that. I notice no difference in speed changing cables types (USC-C etc). Basically feels like a very slow flash drive. There's zero chance of seriously recording to these- I tried. Sometimes when I plug in the drive it takes an extreme time to mount, and can even cause weird things like system hangs. I was hoping at worst, they are large capacity slower drives that I could backup projects on and upcharge the labels for. I'll probably just return them all but I'll probably sleep on it. Kinda tempted to pop one open in the interest of science, but I'm guessing it'll be like the youtube already posted.

#1: This is the power of the magnet of the speaker. -12 Wb to +12 Wb range. I think of it like a "tone" parameter that can add a solidness to things. You can also change the magnet element between Ferrite M, Ferrite H, AlNiCo and Neodymium. #2: Yeah, I guess. I look at it for two things... "backing off" when things are sounding unintentionally broken especially with an old speaker chosen that has sweet tone but breaks apart when the guitar playing gets too rambunctious, and for making things sound intentionally broken, like what'd I'd expect from The Kinks or something. Distortion like this is so subjective, you'll need to just eff with it and see if it's for you. I like it. A nice non-guitar based application- I use this pushed on 808 bass mults from time to time with a HPF when I'm having difficultly getting them to translate on smaller speakers. I demo'd this in session at a big Sound Motel, and everyone in the room was stoked with the sounds we were getting, so I bought it (on sale but more than this) instantly. For people working from a home studio, or a place without the ability to record guitar speakers properly - this should be even more useful. Watch the youtubes, demo it yourself, and you should know if it's worth it to you. It's more for tone chasers, imo.

Thing is, I love hoarding the tuners because I'm often in a foreign "sound motel" and if a tuner isn't handy, I just install that on their rig and leave it. The fact that ProTools doesn't have a built in tuner, or at least a plug in, is so dumb.
