It's an NI sale so it's Kontakt instruments only
-
nothing on here on windows - mac only PS picked up a headtracker on ebay really cheap. Came with a NX virtual mix room licence too.
-
Maybe we should cut him a bit of slack ? They are free after all
-
just posted that all was ok - but my post is held for a moderator to check ! it was because I posted to a link on audios$x.com - basically google it - but legit https://www.gearslutz.com/board/new-product-alert/1299640-announcing-new-way-analog-obsession.html
-
flagged all fine on mine (vst windows) I think they are legit - but not necessarily highest quality https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=509385 https://audiosex.pro/threads/analog-obsession-all-plugins-are-free-now-donationware-development-still-goes-on-but-for-free.52245/

strictly speaking that's the one I'm holding out for - as Larry says JRR is currently cheapest for all these upgrades with the code FORUM.
-
thanks Larry - that's been sitting in my basket for a while
-
slightly off topic (!) - reason 11 (from 10) is on my 'wishlist'. I Haven't seen it discounted anywhere yet. Anybody have any clue when we might see that appear ?
-
was 3/4 of the way then "unknown error"
-
there's also an update to JP legacy - which is 32gb....sigh
-
that's true - but the best value plugins are the ones you actually use
-
if it helps - I have a bit of buyers remorse over the UVI purchase. I always reach for Arturia first - if for no other reason than ease of use
-
yes no at my audio pc at the moment but IIRC the UVI portal is a torrent client. Might be worth trying direct download. It's somewhere in the portal settings
-
(I think) The Arturia stuff is based more on 'modelling' whilst UVI is sample based. Arturia GUI is about 1000% better (approximately) I have the UVI vintage thing and Arturia v7 ....the arturia stuff is just more usable. Arturia wins by a mile....just my opinion obviously

I'm probably gonna wait this out for Komplete 13 Ultimate....probably october ? ......but do 'we' think it's gonna be included. They have the ultimate collectors edition to gouge a bit more money out of us for the extra expansions so I'm not certain ?
-
no loop this time ?
-
I'm not a pro by any standards - but even I tend to use the same plugins. In fact I only buy new ones BECAUSE it's a hobby and I can play with them. In most walks of life it's sensible to buy they best tools you can afford and stick to them. The only reason I might ever hire is if a special job came up with a weird and expensive tool that I was only gonna use once......even then I'd prefer to buy. That doesn't apply to the silver/gold/platinum bundles IMO
-
I know it's frustrating - but sometimes you gotta work within the system. The focusrite is a good plugin IMO, You could get that plus something like: https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/unfiltered_audio_sandman.html - which is pretty good - or get one of the cheap lindell plugs ? and it will only cost $29 Think of it this way - you got the Focusrite for $29 with the other plugin for free - that would be a great deal, ignoring the irritating voucher limits. Shame to miss out.
-
do you know what you need to qualify for the crossgrade ? edit - found it https://www.ikmultimedia.com/eligibilitycheck/?a=modo-drum&s=MD-DRUM-UCD-IN
-
true, and I'm guilty as charged. The new lindell series 80 is amazing DearVR - very niche but very good Focusrite channel is good VSM3 is recommended I use the Lindell 254 on everything Zo is the man for these kind of recommendations of course - check his video reviews edit: also never, ever buy at full price - there are frequent sales with massive savings ...and that's why we're here. edit v2: if you have money to spend TODAY then take a look at the arturia plugin collection - linked somewhere on this forum. I don't know if you have any other Arturia products as you may have a crossgrade offer. They sound first rate and it's a very good collection.

spooky - I did the same and it said to update to 1.2.2 so I did, it downloaded and installed and normal service was resumed ? maybe today is the day to buy a lottery ticket
-
If you run the portal it now downloads the correct version and releases you from the timeloop
-
agreed - but they are US based so they don't normally account for that in the 'base' price. In the UK websites selling to 'home' users are obliged to include it.
