^^^ $19.95 for those too lazy to click -
Best service are totally trustworthy - so if they sell it for that amount I'm sure they will supply ...or if it's a genuine mistake then they'll refund you. TLDR: zero risk

even whilst on holiday he's still way, way ahead
-
he's only been away a few days....and left us all in charge of the place......... I'm embarrassed...we better have a massive tidy up before he gets back or he's gonna be livid ! ;)

yes that's the fix for cubase v9 and above :) oddly wavelab doesn't need it

support says "I can see that this eCoupon has been used already under a different account. Can you please get back to Focusrite for a new one?! Thank you." they only went live yesterday....who knows the other freebies are free for everyone I think EDIT they just got back to me "technical issues" and have given me a new code

yes I noticed that....not really very helpful now it's either medium size or small....
-
another plugin that inexplicably makes you download the entire (5.5gb) install file just to apply the update - quite a few developers guilty of this.......

I wonder if if it's more down to the input impedance/characteristics of the interface ? (Passive) guitars tend to need a high input impedance > 1meg. Most guitar amps (and lots/most) pedals are up in this range - The high output impedance of the p/u coil is very sensitive to odd things going on in the input impedance/cabling of the amp/audiointerface. I know a lot of audio interfaces claim to have hi-z imputs but I suspect the problem is more subtle than that - impedance is a bit of a "3D" value and not usually very linear over the frequency range. I strongly suspect that accounts for some of the differences between interfaces/guitars electrical characteristics. FWIW I'm using my original Pod XT Pro input > SPdif > soundcard and I'm happy with the sound. Might compare with a different input if I get time.

no probs - let me know

quick search through my old, old emails - they had a labor day sale last august and Physion was $49 - so 'might' be worth waiting ?

It's the Swedish naming (umlaut ?) that's causing some issues - at least on windows. You can get it all to work but you might need to do some renaming ..... give it a try and see how you get on - I'll take another look and see what needs doing if you get lost. also - the missing GUI is the .nkr file I think - try rescanning for it

I wasn't signed up - but I am now

I'm still running pod xt pro from 2005...which is actually ok but the PC editor/controller is from the dark ages - I had my only win10 blue screen using it. First impressions of the Helix is that it's amazing BUT - I think they are being a bit mean with the presets...why not give us loads more (they want you to BUY some)...and why use the archaic numbering system with A/B/C/D...and no tags or way to search your presets..... ? Also no IRs ...again they want to SELL them to you ! Looper is missing from the hardware version - would have been nice to have this. No tuner. No standalone version (plugin only) - They should have copied some of the stuff from guitar rig IMO not totally 5-star but the sound is very good
-
a summer bump for this: code is now SUMMER30 and those of us in the UK/(EU?) get VAT added of course (just bought helix native - it's very nice )

PARTY!!!!!

annoyingly I've a $75 voucher which is basically useless nowadays
-
that's what I got - but it's a bit of CPU hog - and has a lot of latency so can't use it live.....oh well
