just linking to the 2 official Steinberg poll results from last year. https://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=285&t=165135 and https://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=285&t=166652 the categories were suggested by SB so it's not like they don't know. video export came in v10.5 (with lot's of caveats), so did full coloured tracks in the mix console - and it looks like Bezier curves for midi is going to be in v11 so in summary - underwhelming and it's not because they don't know what users want.
-
SB promised to sync the two releases but that soon fell apart. There's no release date rumours so I'd suggest sitting on that licence for a few more months. I'd (wild) guess next march....

Agree re: the beta being pretty much the finished feature list but totally disagree re: "it's pretty big" they've done a few customer feature request polls in the last 12 months or so. Lots of great options....and I'm not sure any of that stuff seems to have made it into 11 The main 'features' - ARA2 should have worked in 10 (2 version ago) same with hidpi. What about all the stuff people have been asking for for years (decades !) - reorderable channels in the mixers - WORKING eucon or VCA. the Midi remote API is nice but the 'multiband compressor' ? I'll upgrade because I always do - but very disappointing.
-
I tend to agree - looks like minor tweaks and fixes. The ARA update is useful but things like this and hidpi were really just fixes for stuff that was promised to be working in v10. (been with cubase since Atari too )

I've had some similar issues with Izotope serials not showing up in my online account. What I did find working was re-adding the serials into the PC version of the portal. Then they reappear online They've removed the option to add serials on their website - not quite sure why. I normally send these to my ilok so I don't have to worry to much.
-
FWIW cubase 11 is due and they normally give a month grace period update period...
-
they seem to have a lot of free loop collections on their site

what I can't understand is why @Peter - IK Multimedia is even allowing @cclarry to buy a licence ? Follow my logic... This is basically Larry's forum - it only really exists because of all the hard work he put in - I don't know how much revenue he generates for the companies whose deals he posts....I do know that he has PERSONALLY cost me a small fortune ? IKM regularly use this forum to sell their products....They gain access to a massive group of people who are hungry for deals...and that is 100% down to Larry...and yet he is still required to BUY a licence. People get NFR licences just by have a couple of views on youtube ....... C'mon IKM, do the right thing here, it doesn't cost you a penny. -
$399 - good luck with that !

a few positive posts - but mainly people complaining about the price or confused about the various options.....even Peter is seeking clarification so it's not at all obvious what upgrade option gives you what feature. I'm kind of assuming that if I install A4 CS that I get all my existing stuff running in the A5 engine for free ? Somebody has asked that same question (several times) directly to Peter but the answer has been "I recommend you upgrade to A5 SE" ...but with no explanation or detail. Peter has also done some very biased maths to show what a bargain it is...ignoring the fact that many people already own a lot of the stuff in A5 Max anyway.... I, for one, are totally confused by the options but the headline figure of 368 euros means it's kind of irrelevant. I emailed support to ask if I'm eligible for an upgrade as I bought A4max as part of the Total deal a couple of weeks ago and I already owned the non-max version. It's a bit sneaky to do a massive sale 2 weeks before announcing a new version - then charging people a 2nd time for the latest version. -

yes that makes sense....although the upgrade price puts it into a different league of course. I have to say I'm pretty annoyed with the upgrade pricing. Over on GS Peter is trying to put a positive spin on it, as always. But as somebody who bought A4 max a couple of weeks ago and has some additional addon packs, a 359euro upgrade price to the latest version is pretty insulting. And that's a "special" introductory price....who know what that might increase to in future.....? -

Good question - I suspect I know the answer -

those upgrade prices look pretty high !!! 180euro for me to upgrade to A5 - and 360euro for MAX - I already own most of the packs. Makes NI upgrades seem almost reasonable -
and no option to just install vst3 - the install forces both

from 3.2.2 to 3.2.3 run the TT product manager to update BUG FIXES: Song Creator Clicking on a Song Structure could lead to a crash. Using a “Replace … on Track” function could lead to a crash. Song Track Using “Change Tempo” to increase the tempo in a song block caused a crash. Edit Play Style Changing Amount for a future hit instrument (shaker/tambourine) could lead to a crash.

I think the reason that Abbey Road / SSL bundle isn't included in the other bundles is some weird licensing issue - also odd that the Abbey Road bundle shows as individual plugins in your account not as a bundle.
