  1. Truly outstanding job on these pieces! Beautifully played, and the raw recording catches the nuances. The NI piano sounds nice.
  2. Really nice cover, great work!!

Good stuff my friend! Rocking and rollicking country vibe for sure. Really great performance and production, guitars especially are smokin’! ????

Nice sounding tune, maybe push the vocals forward a bit in the mix though. Great work!

    Starfield

Fabulous work, great synth textures, fits together nicely. Love when you bring the drum groove in.
  8. Love the tune! I didn’t grow up in UK, but I I can still relate to your lyrics filling in my own blanks, lol! Very nice production and performance as well. Your piano and melodic guitar work are solid.
  9. Great tune! Very nice performance and production.
  10. Are your sample rates mismatched? That can cause issues like what you’re describing. I see your project is set to 44.1/16, what is the interface set to? Check the ASIO panel or Focusrite Control to make sure they match.
  11. Great song, outstanding performance and production. Video was very creative and unique as well. Enjoyed it!!
  12. If I’m understanding you correctly, I recommend getting rid of the daisy chain setup in order to troubleshoot. Plug each kit/module in directly by itself and see if they both respond correctly inputting the note info, or if one is glitching with the long notes (shouldn’t be like that, notes should be short). I seem to remember a previous post when you were setting this up that you said you picked up one of them cheap second hand, I’m wondering if there could be an issue with that module. If they each input correctly by themselves, but then this happens when you daisy chain, then it’s something with that set up.

Good work, very unique and creative! Very progressive-rockish vibe, Definitely evokes a mood of tension, in a good way. Enjoyed listening!
  14. Great work, excellent performance and production! ?
  15. Free pitch correction/shift plug-in- Grallion 2 by Auburn Sounds: https://www.auburnsounds.com/products/Graillon.html I use this plug I all the time and it’s fantastic! While you’re at it, check out their other free plugs also (i.e. Panagement 2). All really great! Heres a video of how to use it in Cakewalk:
  16. Interesting experiment you came up with, now almost completely overthought (i.e. Fourier, Nyquist theorems, etc). Agree, seems like some people need to take time to read and dicern the point before jumping in. Carry on, will be interesting and fun to hear your results!
  17. This is outstanding my friend! Really great job on the performance and production. And don’t be insecure about your voice, it really fits this Lennon-esqe style, and you covered this one well! I listened to the old one as well, and you did improve this mix, the vocs definitely stand out better. ?????
  18. This is fabulous! Really cool vibe with the uke, catchy melody, all around great tune! Your performance and production are outstanding also. The meat is definitely there, look forward to hearing it in the completed form! I want to go to the beach now, lol… ?️?????
  19. This is really outstanding, my friend! I’m really impressed by your songwriting sensibilities, as well as your performance, and production. All really top notch (really liked your vocs especially)! As far as additions, I think you want to be careful not to over produce it. It’s really good as it is, the production kind of fits the heart and message of the song. Anything you do add, keep it subtle. Soft laid-back drums would be good, possibly a more pronounced piano/electric piano track, background strings, and maybe mandolin tremolo in the chorus?? Just some thoughts. Anyway, again great work!
  20. If you want to assign an instrument definition to a DTX drum kit/module, you will need to download the .ins file. I think you can download it here from Yamaha: https://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/ProductMedia/MIDI/InsDefs-2.exe
  21. Backing track is great and fits the video well. Creative concept, love the retro ads!! ???
  22. Very nice tune! Catchy hooky melody, good clean mix. Great job!! ???
  23. Fabulous work! Great tune and video. Definite high bar production value. Congrats on your album success! ????
  24. Groovy tune! Interesting progression and changes, clean production. Great job ????
