  1. Here's a fun collaboration I did with Craig Clontz (@craigclontz) and Fabian Bono (@fabass2020) over on Bandlab of this wonderful Amos Lee song. I am on vocals and keys, Craig is on guitar and drums, and the Fabian is on bass. They recorded their parts in BL, my vocs and keys recorded in CW. I then mixed and mastered everything in CW also. Not a perfect recording, but a bit of rawness kind of fits the song!

Really nice. What am I hearing at 1:32 in addition to the piano? It is very effective.

Thanks so much, appreciate the listen! The other instrument is the Keyscape Harmochord (a  harmochord is basically an electrified harmonium, and uses a motorized blower in place of the bellows). As with all of the Spectrasonics stuff, the sampling/modeling is impeccable!

Greetings and salutations to all my CW friends this holiday season.  I hope all is well for everybody in these challenging times.

Here is a song that I wrote last summer using EZ Keys 2, Midi Guitar 2, SD3, and the other usual suspects.  It is the first song I used EZ Key 2 on, and it is quite a tool; now I have to learn how to play this manually ?  It's about that person almost everyone knows who goes about his or her life, quietly in the background, doing those small things that make everyone's life a little easier.  As always, I look forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions for this, and I want to thank all of you for your time and effort!

It can be found here:  https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14611150

12/23:  I've updated this to take advantage of the good suggestions I've received.  I increased the low end by adjusting the bass and drums.  Once I started making changes others followed, but most were subtle for clarity's sake.  I really appreciate all your input!

Great job, Lynn! Very cool tune, well composed, performed, and produced. Thought provoking lyrics too, enjoyed it!!

    Greetings,

I was pondering feeling fragile or something like that at times especially some difficult times this year, and not liking that feeling so I made this song about those moments. Some is literal and some is a bit of my NY sarcasm and I made up a few new words (i think). I used Instacomposer 2 to mess with chords and phrases initially. I like it for ideas. I like that is has drums now. I used SI bass, d pro and kontact session horns, sampletank organ , addictive drums and cakewalk session drummer, new nation blaque guitar, vital for accents, the free Miroslav Philharmonik for stringy layer. Feedback welcome as I was working on this a long time and my judgements may be impaired from hearing it too much ! Thanks, Treesha

    Lyrics

I don’t have it in me to go to war

Even when it’s knocking on my door

I’m too fragile for a fight

Go ahead and make my night

I’m too fragile to be strong

But still I drag myself along

I don’t want to be fragile

    Who wants to be fragile

    I don’t like being fragile

I’m too tough to be fragile

On top of everything I lost

    Because of everything it cost

There is no refund coming back

    Replacing everything I lack

I have a slight bit of fight

In my forlorn bit of worn

    Used up let down

    In a ghost town

    It’s all fall down

    Seriously flimsy

    Too fragile to be strong

    So delicate

    A flower on the lawn

Don’t want to rise to the occasion

I need a nice long vacation

I’ve had enough of this fragile

    It’s too tough being fragile

    Breakably fragile

Bouncing around like a fun house clown

    Un- nipotent Un- formidable

    Difficulty delicate

I’m too fragile like a ghost on a cloud

I’m too fragile icicle in the sun

    No port in the storm

I’m too fragile a whisper in the wind

Nice job Treesha. Well composed, performed, and mixed.

Hello ,  I thought I'd do a cover that I've been playing around with for a while. I did it just for my own satisfaction while in between originals. I've always wondered why nobody covered this "dark" song , taking it out of the rockabilly genre.   Anyway ..  if you hear anything that would improve it ,  please let me know.    Thanks for the listen ..   mark       -link now reflects a remix-

Wow Mark, absolutely cool and unique take on this classic. You really owned it, great production, and performance, especially guitar work,  is top-notch. Great job!!!
