Ironically, I had an opposite incident where, before I began using strap-locks, I was wearing my Les Paul inside my friends house when one of the ends of the strap came off and the guitar went, body first, right down onto his Mom's antique (naturally, right?) table putting a nice dent and scratch into it. Boy did I hear about that! The guitar came out of the incident just fine. Now with ALL guitars and basses that I get, I use the same Schaller strap-locks and all my padded straps have the opposite part already added so it's just a matter of grabbing an instrument and a strap.

I'm sure that the main reason I never succeeded as a rock star is due to the fact that I was never able to grow "that" kind of hair. Every time I tried it wouldn't grow long, just thick and unruly. Unfortunately, rocking the "homeless bed hair" look neither improved my abilities or my attraction to groupies. ?

A couple of weeks ago I lost my entire left side! ? I'm all right now. ?

I'd find a much safer and saner place to live and fly there. Then I'd use the money to buy something that will hold it's value and do so quickly before it becomes worth a lot less! Then I would play my guitar. (I was told to keep it music related, ya? ?)

Starting with Dave's video, I've been checking out the stuff from both the bass player (Juna Serita) and the saxophonist Harumo Imai. I'm liking a LOT of what I see hear! ? (Ok, so I'm already in virtual love with the saxophonist and lusting after the bass player too. Oh well! ?) Here's a playlist for Harumo: And now my question. I'm really liking this kind of music and I'm sure I probably have some in my collection but... Maybe you guys can give me a few artists in this genre to try out?
