  1. What am i supposed to do? Like I got the SINE player and got the licenses, where do I start downloading?
  2. Trying to push through the online traffic jam and getting the freebie registered and downloaded.
  3. The Glockenspiel is really nice sounding, so it's worth checking out. Not sure about the Kalimba, as it is quite detuned, and may not be properly mapped to the appropriate octaves in some cases. Be wary though, the standalone may not be able to detect your ASIO device or find the sample library and so won't play notes. Can anyone give an impression on what the related deal is like? Like, I have no idea what the Master is supposed to be, and the Vibes, I am guessing is a Vibraphone?
  4. Very nice! If you missed the APD deal for Palette Orchestral Sketchpad, this is a nice way to get started with orchestral scoring instead. (It might even be better suited considering how light it is, if you don't mind the inflexibility that comes with having almost everything baked in.)
  5. I decided to pick up SoundSpot Evade to grab the course. :3
  6. The icons in that website is a bit familiar. Is this the return of Sonex?
  7. Yeah, the fact that this is all on one patch, and with no keyswitching is suspicious.
  8. I appreciate that you're trying to bring deals to me, but saying that it doesn't take much money isn't going to cause the money I need to make the purchases to magically appear on my lap. Besides, any money that comes my way is going to towards helping a friend not die from a spider bite.
  9. That's just wrong. I don't have the kind of money or tools to mitigate the risk.
  10. I have never heard an Imogen Heap song before, but thanks anyways!
  11. Thank you! That was a really nice aleatoric violin loop included with Cinematrix. In fact that whole Kontakt instrument and the fact that I was writing this in 7/8 are responsible for a lot of the unconventional decisions I've made for this track. I then added 2 Bass patches from Ultra Analog VA-3, two of my own design, one arpeggiated and the other manually scored for some low end reinforcement, and another one of my own keyboard patches for the bell-like riff at the middle. A lot of side-chains were involved to make the spaces fit. Thank you both kindly!
  12. Upgrading from Win 7 always carries a risk, and I don't want to end up bricking something that is mission critical.
  13. Ahh yes, allow me to just pull a Windows 10 PC out of my ***** with money I don't have, just to use software. Brilliant.
  14. An Industrial Cinematic Progressive Ambient theme for an underground mine where death does not happen, and the miners just continuously fall apart without stopping. I used Cinematrix and Ultra Analog VA-3 https://metapop.com/valerie-grimaude-valens/tracks/descent-into-madness/117564
  15. You have made the right choice
  16. They already have some good freebies kicking around for Kontakt Full, so good find!
  17. While I got Ultra Analog VA-3 mainly for the sound design aspect, having extra presets to work with is always good! Thanks AAS!
  18. Reverb just tends to mud the sound if applied too liberally. If you can find the ADSR settings, you can increase the release time.
  19. I do like Dennis and his stuff. I am really glad he's still kicking around.
  20. Oh wow, the new freebie looks neat! Thanks for the heads up!
