  1. This is a no-brainer, if you don't have it, go grab it.
  2. Grabbed Worra's Prophet and the Arp Solina, total no-brainer picks for me!
  3. There's also the Amadeus Symphonic Orchestra by Sonic Scores for $149.
  4. Recently I have been just using Session Drummer 3, SSD5 Free and Druminator. I also end up just opening up Roland SCVA and exploring the included percussion kits.
  5. It is possible that you're rubbing up against the limits of the data transfer speeds of your HDD, considering that most sample based instruments use DFD mode streaming. I'd recommend investing in a solid state drive, and migrating the sample collections to that drive.
  6. What I mean is listening to the audio, and manually interpreting what notes were played.
  7. ...holy shit, I need to get in on this!
  8. I personally would suggest just using your ears for this task and manually tweaking note start times, durations and pitches.
  9. I believe I have sent a support ticket with the problematic project file and a link to the 2 GB dump file.
  10. XPand! 2 Is great, but I also use Roland SCVA for my bread and butter sounds. I consider it to be a great upgrade to TTS-1 and is compatible with most of the MIDIs I had previously written out of the box with little extra routing/setup/editing.
  11. Oh nice, I guess that's something I might save up for in the future.
  12. Being able to see the Temp and Time Signature automation inline within the sequencer view would be great. Amazing even.
  13. You should sign up to the Waves newsletter for any deals they have going if you're looking for pro-effects plugins, they even have a small catalog of decent VSTis. Those plugins often go on sale for a deep discount.
  14. Try selecting the clip you want to edit and bouncing to clip. This SHOULD force a re-render of the clip, and unlink it.
  15. Title theme for a game me and my adoptive sister Alice are working on, this time arranged with the Palette Orchestral Sketchpad.
  16. This is a neat little VST, the lack of sounds isn't that big of a deal when you consider that the sounds are of high quality, plus there is nothing stopping you from finding the original synth and running it with jBridge.
  17. Done and done, voted with the intensity of a thousand suns.
  18. I wonder how hard it would be to convert the Dimension Pro patches to Kontakt Player format
  19. The Palette Symphonic Sketchpad library is great for a starter library, however, I am looking for ways to expand the library in ways the brush packs couldn't. Namely, I am looking for a fine concert Harpsichord and Celesta. Some world instruments like a Pan Flute/Quena would be great too.
  20. Yes, XPand!2 is a very good investment. I'd been able to find my preferred sounds fairly quickly with it.
