  1. SSL LMC+ $19.99 @ Plugin Boutique https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/8-Compressor/8677-SSL-LMC- The SSL LMC+ replicates the sound of an SSL 4000E console's reverse talkback function, a.k.a. the Listen Mic, which included an integrated compressor to safeguard against overloads and make quiet speech intelligible. It was the Listen Mic Compressor, combined with the SSL 4000E's built-in noise gate, that was the genesis to the gated-reverb drum sound that dominated the '80s. The LMC+ plug-in eclipses the original hardware, providing you with advanced functionality that wasn't present in the original console, such as external sidechain capabilities, highpass filters and lowpass filters, and Scoop and Split functions. And thanks to its intuitive controls, the LMC+ is a breeze to use. If you want to smash everything back to the 1980s, the LMC+ is the plug-in to do it with. The LMC+ plug-in takes the vaunted SSL Listen Mic Compressor from the center section of an SSL 4000E console and enhances it with modern features derived from SSL's LMC+ 500 Series module. An external sidechain enables you to trigger gain reduction with an external source or signal, while variable highpass and lowpass filters allow you to tailor which frequencies trigger the compression. You also get Scoop and Split functions. Scoop phase-inverts your wet signal, while Split engages a bandpass-subtraction mode. There is also a Mix control, which makes parallel processing a piece of cake. If you enjoy slamming audio into oblivion, you'll find a zillion uses for the LMC+. 2. Not likely any time soon I'd say. The two 70% offs aren't normally available to stack in that way.
  3. I had a feeling it may not last long. Gotta be quick!
  4. Haha.. yeah sometimes with these ones it you don't see it in time, or you think too long, or even try a demo, you miss out! I know I've missed some killer prices that way ? It all added to the cart perfectly at the time, but I already own that EQ and the plugins I want from Hornet at the moment. It's actually quite a cool EQ for the money. I have ProQ3, but I do like being able to add variable amounts of analogue style saturation on each band independently. Even at the regular 70% off price its good value.
  5. I paid $94 back in November 2021 and got Audiority PolyComp free with it ? They did fix it shortly after though.
  6. I pulled the trigger at $94 in a previous sale ages ago at Plugin Boutique. On that occasion they corrected the price after I bought it. Really the few extra dollars off just gave me an excuse to buy it, but I'm glad I did! You can make similar sounds with all different synths, but there is something I really like about the filters and effects with Spire. It does really have it's own sound in a way.
  7. Considering that most people will have either bought, or got Analog Stage when it was free it might make the upgrade price to MKII pretty cheap too! https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-analogstage-mk2/
  8. HoRNet Total EQ (€2,52 instead of €27,99!!) Regular price is 27,99€ Sale price is 8,40€ MFTQSS70 reduces that by 70% to €2,52! https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-total-eq/ Versatile visual EQ with analog emulation
  9. Still love the sound of Spire ?
  10. That helped confirmed what I was seeing and now I have the email for them which does too. I suspected it might be free for Anthology owners, so I downloaded it and it seemed to activate for me. Even though the site shows an upgrade / crossgrade for me! The email much later says: FREE for Anthology XII owners! Seems like quite a inconsistent release really, as it was announced and showing up in some places, but not others. Nice freebie though ?
  11. Have you tried installing it and seeing if your Mk I license activates Mk II by any chance?
  12. Have updated the original post with the link to their site: https://www.eventideaudio.com/plug-ins/physion-mk-ii/
  13. Eventide: Physion Mk II $83.16 @ JRRShop https://www.jrrshop.com/eventide-physion Use code: GROUP Official: https://www.eventideaudio.com/plug-ins/physion-mk-ii/ FREE for Anthology XII owners! Eventide Physion Mk II First Walkthrough - Split Transient & Tonal In Real Time
  14. Yeah times have definitely changed. I hardly pay attention to their sales any more. I do wonder if they'll keep it up, or eventually start having proper sales like they used to which will make people flock back and buy heaps again. But the alternative is they just keep crap sales and try (unsuccessfully at least in my case) to get everyone on subs. I was there for the good days though and have most of what I wanted so I'll just be buying from some of the other great Devs I haven't bought much from yet.
  15. Triad is a bit of a beast. Well worth it for that price. I don't have experience with Crispy Tuner, but compared to the alternatives, that doesn't sound like a bad price either.
  16. That really is quite an unusual process! I guess it's not really too bad though, it's just not common, or what I would expect. Thanks for sharing the info.
  17. I think you nailed it there Vernon, that's what I get from them too. They are fun to play and you can definitely get some great sounds out of them as a bonus. This one is a very unusual synth and not really like anything else I've got from them, or from anyone else really! I've just been watching a walkthrough of it.
  18. Cherry Audio: Quadra @ JRR Shop ($20.16 instead of $59) $20.16 with code GROUP https://www.jrrshop.com/cherry-audio-quadra
  19. I think it might have been you that shared that tip before. I gave it a shot and the combo worked quite well. I need to remember to try that on some more tracks in future ?
  20. I just recently got this and quite like it ?

    Absynth is Over?

Absynth definitely needed a UI overhaul.. for some reason I feel like I want to start using it now ? They should either hand it over to him to continue development, or open source it. Given it probably has some proprietary code they re-used elsewhere I'm guessing handing over is the only choice other than them changing their mind..
  22. There are some great guides out there on the different types. If someone doesn't link one, then when I'm free later I'll see if I can add a useful one. For this and FET compressors in general I like them for drums and drum busses most. FET compressors can be snappy and aggressive which often works well for drums.
  23. This is also a good entry point into getting a discount on Softube Volume 5 (or 6 when released) as the upgrade price is only based on your single most expensive Softube plugin you have from the bundle already. So if you only have the cheap ones and ever plan on upgrading, that might make it and even better option.
