  3. They could probably add this quite easily to their download / installer. In that you can click on "My Plugins" and you get a simple view of all your plugins. On the Demos tab, it has all plugins, but if you already own a plugin, you don't need a demo. So if they just did the inverse of "My Plugins" and populated the Demos section with that, it would make much more sense and be a quick and easy check to see what you don't already own and it would place no additional load on the website.

  5. Got mine as well and a very good deal This was a really clever way of doing it too. A lot of us have already bought a heap of Hornet's plugins, so often miss out on the freebie gifts. This time we didn't miss out and by staggering the load, their servers weren't smashed and offline. It would have taken way more manual effort on their part to go through the emails though, so @HoRNet a HUGE thank you!!
  6. Let's hope they don't get creative and offer UVI Digital Synsations Vol. 1 like just about every damn reseller almost every month it seems 🤣 It is at least refreshing to see LoopCooud isn't just trotting out Softube VCA Compressor again.. Or free UA Verve Essentials, or the previously free UA LA2A.. they must be saving them for another run next month... Haha... These particular ones aren't quite as common to see free at least (apart from IK Group Buys) I'm not sure the resellers know this, but a free incentive is normally more effective when half the world hasn't already gotten it free multiple times over!

  10. Hornet Plugins are underrated. It depends on what you've already got, but Analog Stage is good, so is Tape and Multicomp. Their HA2A is nice as well. Total EQ isn't bad either.
  11. I know the one you mean and from any other company I would definitely share your concern, but I would not at all be surprised if it's genuine from him. He's not ruthless and greedy like some of the companies out there and has been quite generous previously 🙂
  12. Probably the same person in Waves that thought WUP, or subscription only, would be a good idea 🤣 For the record, I also think Knobcloud is a completely stupid name and so is CLAP to replace the VST standard though.. Haha...
  13. Yeah that sounds insane. Being able to play it that well obviously helps as well! If that kidney sale falls through, let me know as I might know another seller.. I'd love this thing too 🤣
  14. Was that for rating DriveMod, as I don't think you get VC for feedback on freebies?
  15. Still haven't spent long with it, but driving the pre-amp on this thing sounds nice on synths! Albeit I feel it needs a an overall volume dial to counter that gain, besides only the mix wet/dry. But on an effect send you could just set to fully wet and then dial in as much as you want by the level on the output of that send. Somewhat like a lot of their presets, they have some crazy experimental presets and for the right situation they would be perfect. Can make it sound pretty organic and warm by driving the pre, adding some spread / wow / flutter and making it ping pong. There's a preset that is a really good starting place for that. Still need more time with it and to read the manual and check out all the LFO / mod side. For a dollar or less, I'd happily buy it again. It's already amused me enough to make it worth it for entertainment alone 🤣
  16. Yeah a few of those seem plausible. I was almost tempted to just save the virtual cash and use it on something more expensive to avoid the risk, but the worst case scenario wasn't too bad anyway.
  17. I've been a bit worried in the past about that happening. Did you happen to notice if it stripped it from the cart once you applied the virtual cash? Or does it stay in the cart but you just don't get it once you've checked out?
  18. I've got it installed, but haven't had much time to use it yet. I do quite like two of their synths though, so they do make some quality software.
  19. So I can practically turn a profit? That's my kind of deal! 🤣
  20. I wouldn't buy it for that, but I thought it might be worth it for K7D as I had lots of fun with Imaginando's DRC synth and their FRMS FM synth. DRC has quite a nice analog'ish warm sound, so the tape delay for $0.11 (Or $1 without any PiB virtual cash) is a good deal 🙂 None of my Soundspot plugins get any use, although I do remember Union being lightyears better than that free Behringer softsynth. A few members on here praise their plugins, so some might be OK. K7D was crazy cheap during their semi recent anniversary sale too, but this was even cheaper again.
  21. Worked fine for me. Just downloaded the trial direct off the Imaginando site and then logged in/activated from within the plugin in the DAW and entered the serial from PiB.
  22. Not a deal: Moog launch Muse polysynth https://www.soundonsound.com/news/moog-launch-muse-polysynth
  23. Is that code for, You DO Need It? 😜
  24. That's exactly why I wasn't going to bother installing it and I had such low expectations. I wonder if they tweaked, or improved any of the algorithms. I don't remember Ravage sounding as good. I'm terms of rip off, I guess it depends on whether they bought the company, or just the assets (source code for their plugins), or were granted access to use the code, or licensed, or given it for free. If they didn't buy the company, then they're really under no obligation. Of course it would be nice, but they don't owe anything. There might be something in the EULA / terms and conditions for it which might shed some light, but I don't really know what they legally acquired otherwise. It didn't sound like they bought the company to me.
