  1. Good to hear the injuries were only minor, no mention though of the long term effects Thanks for reading the lyric's, I suspect not all have grasped what they are about, I really appreciate your taking the time to listen to this.
  2. Thanks nice to know you survived ? The LP around 1981/2 I built it, yes I cheated it was a bare bones kit, so all had to was put it ogether and finished it. This did require many hours of sanding. The kit was only the wood cut to the basic shape but unfinished. I fitted D'marzio PUP'S, all the other furniture is solid brass. It's incredibly heavy as it's a solid mahogany body and neck, maple top, box wood trim and rose wood finger board . Hand wired with coil splitting switches.
  3. Thanks, the humour is there to hide the sadness behind the truth of the lyrics. I do appreciate your kind words and time
  4. To me the blues it no so much what you play but how you feel when your playing, Mix sound reasonable here.
  5. Greetings to the Songs forum, good first effort lots of valuable advice given above re the Mix, to my furry ears the kit does sound over compressed.
  6. Another cover of Dylan's Along the Watchtower with the Hendrix interpretation. Mix sound reasonable here I do agree that the kick needs a little more presence and weight, the snare needs a bit more snap. A round of applause though you did good.
  7. @Kevin Perry Elements of Steve Hillage's Luna Musick Suit, this is nice stuff.
  8. As the tee shirt slogan says, "I am a grumpy old Wookiee, I like dogs and about three people." Thanks for listening and commenting @bjornpdx it is appreciated.
  9. @Bajan Blue Yes the sound has changed but not in a negative way, this is a little lighter perhaps a little more Pop. Nicely done.
  10. Good that you got a chance @Lynn Wilson I do understand about time being precious this year. Sounds good here.
  11. Thanks Nigel appreciated, good to know that no damage was incurred ?
  12. A little while ago someone on this forum commented that all my music was the same and that I never sing, this should set that record straight. As the longer term member here know Wookiee signing is dangerous, it not lethal, to none Wookiee life forms, which explains that in the main. However in this tune, created in CbB, there is a Wookiee vocal that could be fatal to some. I thank those who are brave enough to risk their lives if not their hearing. https://www.bandlab.com/post/2ea86cbd-4230-ed11-b494-000d3a3ee5f3 Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit It Slips away Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit Less and Less each day Less and Less each day Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit More Slips away Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit Smaller and Smaller still Smaller and Smaller still Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit Slip Slipping away Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit Gone for evermore Gone for evermore Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit Steeper the slide becomes Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit Slipping away from here Slipping away from here Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit She Slips away Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit She has Gone away She has Gone away Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit Her mind has Slipped away Drip, drip, drip, Bit by Bit Her mind has gone away Her mind has gone away Her mind has Slips away Her mind has gone away Toys Used. 13. But what wonderful moments of joy they bring to your life. Thanks for listening and commenting it is appreciated.
  14. Thanks Nigel, she was just a tad mental when we took her. She had been locked in the garden at 4 months old because she was a pest. She had no training or sense of what was expected of her, which was very little. With love, affection and direction she soon learnt. We also had the assistance of our duchess Tara who was quick to put her right when she over stepped the line. As ever your ears and time are appreciated You did indeed your words were a comfort, thanks for listening and commenting again
  15. To be honest Jeff I frequently don't know either ?. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment
  16. She was very nearly feral when we rescued her at 13 months. She changed from the madness illustrated by those drums in to my mate, who would walk beside me no lead required, sit without a word at a road. Keep my furry paws warm on winter nights. She was taken to early, but lab's have a problem with cancer and it got her big time. Thanks for the ears and kind words T they are appreciated.
