    WATCHING YOU

Sounds OK here @Paul Bush do you have access to a loudness meter? Youlean do a nice one, there is a free version that is useful, the paid for one which is not that expensive is even more useful. Mix stands the test here on the Adam A7x's, I can hear all the voices which is always a good thing.
  3. @markno999 Thank you a little distortion here and there never goes a miss ? As to the drum break I can not take all the credit Superior Drummer 3 comes with some very cool breaks, a little tweak here and there to make it fit and mine (mine do you hear me it was all mine ??)
  4. @User 905133 Thanks for the listen and comment the module "Random Task" is a purchase extra and does not appear to be in a bundle either. cost $20. The Rabbit hole is very big and very extensive and you can be down there for days on end making minute tweaks and creating weird sounds. Thanks again for your kind words.
  5. @E-Wolf Music have to agree with David, this needs something else over the top, either a lead Solo instrument or a vocal, unless it is intended to sit under a film with a narrative. Well recorded well crafted but.....

    Look Ahead

I like it @Lynn thanks for sharing.
  7. You productions are always so professionally presented, nice playing as ever, excellent signing. Well worthy of a
  8. This has the feel of a lot of recent advertisement music, somewhat laid back and semi acoustic. Nicely done on the production as ever Daryl and co. Nice Guitar work James, solid Bass from The Bapu, nice vocals from Liz and The monkey lover as ever tickling the keys and knobs.
  9. So @MGC59 how did you convince Chris Martin to sing on this for you ?. Not a big fan of them only familiar with their stuff I have heard on the radio when driving. This does sound very much like their sound, I think I agree with Tom (DeeringAmps) the kit would have a fuller sound, the drummer has a lot of input on the song writing as I understand it.
  10. @Bajan Blue Thanks Nigel glad you enjoyed it.
  11. @tonemangler thank you for your ears and time, some bits were a little out of my contro
  12. @freddy j Thank you I have been playing with Synths since the late 60's and early 70's so i get the idea sometimes I still get surprised by them ? and @Lynn thank you too, OK not sure what it is but you are welcome to some.
  13. Nice little blues ditty well reproduced.

    Amarillo

Not really my thing musically but it sounds well played and well produced.
  15. Generally a great tune @Douglas Kirby I do think it would benefit from backing off the reverb in places, like the verse. But your tune your mix which works as is. Thanks for sharing.
  16. @Douglas Kirby Thank you for listening and leaving a comment, futuristic I suppose I have very little idea where any of it comes from it just sort ends up coming out of the end of the furry paws. And I thank you for your comment there.
  17. @thegaltieribrothers Thank you, that s the basic idea, as time is warped by space and space is warped by time, changes happen, thanks for the ears, time and comments they are appreciated.
  18. There is a module called "Random Task" it has a Gate input which can either be trigger by a Clock/Gate or in this case the Gate from a key press. This generates a Voltage which has probability, shuffle and Steps/Range controls and also voltage value from 0 to 5v's The output CV goes into a quantizer to keep it in tune. From there it just gets a little mad as it feeds an oscillator which controls a vectoring module, which is modulated by three other oscillators. which in them selves are modulated by a few LFO's. Do you get the picture? Thanks for the ears @bjornpdx. When you do look in to Modular synthesis be prepared to disappear down a rabbit hole and get lost along the way.
  19. This is nice, at least you have tried and not failed I would fail at about bar 1 beat 2. I do believe a round of applause is due @Mahavishnu.
  20. Thanks @David Sprouse it is a weird thing to listen too as sometimes the self generating patch on the VM just produces rubbish, it is a case of cross the fur paws and hope the bounce works. Thanks for your time, ears and kind words.
  21. No crits on this all I will say is this
  22. I remember my Dad moaning about the Kinks when this was released, Oops did I just age myself, well done cover Steve.
  23. And I am not telling how I did it either. Thanks for the ears @daryl1968
