Tonocracy v2.2: Important fixes… and a new amp!

Today we are releasing version 2.2 of Tonocracy, which fixes some important issues - and adds another classic amp to our SchemAccurate collection, the Gemini Clean. Get it now at tonocracy.com/download!

First up, the bugfixes:

A few users have reported that they are unable to log in to the app, despite successful registration on the website. If you were affected by this, updating to v2.2 and resetting your password should solve the problem.

To reset your password (after installing v2.2), go to tonocracy.com and then make sure you are logged out of your account by clicking Logout in the upper right corner. Then proceed to the login page by clicking Login / Create Account. On the login page, click Forgot your password? and enter the email address associated with your account. You should then receive an email with a password reset link. Follow this link and fill out the form, then verify that you can log in to tonocracy.com with your new password. If this is successful, then launch the new version of Tonocracy and log in.

Now… on to the new stuff!

Our latest SchemAccurate amp is the Gemini Clean. This model is based on the 1963 Fender® Twin Reverb - a top pick for players in pursuit of crystal-clear, yet punchy tones. When it was first introduced, this amp set a new benchmark for professional guitar amplification by allowing higher stage volumes without excessive distortion. With the Volume between 3 and 6, you get a sparkling, pure reproduction of your guitar’s natural sound. Turning it up a bit more, this amp starts to take on a subtle yet pleasing edge - and at its maximum you can really hear it start to growl! (Don’t try this with the real thing if you value your eardrums, though!)
