AFAIK there's no way to include or exclude Synth Rack entries during deletion like there is when deleting them from the Synth Rack. For me Synth Rack is normally closed out of sight-out of mind, so it can get filled up with "dead" softsynths. Still on 2022.11 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you're using seprate MIDI and Synth tracks, it may not get deleted it you just change the I/O assignment of one of those tracks without deleting them. But deleting the synth track while keeping it's MIDI tracks retains the Synth Rack reference even if the MIDI tracks are rerouted to other synths or deleted later. So does this mean the synth is still actually in the Synth Rack? Or is the Synth Rack only a reference to the former synth?
