misfit Posted May 5, 2023 Share Posted May 5, 2023 Does anybody know where exactly cakewalk stores presets that you save using the drop down menu rather than through the plugins own gui? I had a lot of serum presets saved using the menu that now no longer have. I know they're saved within cakewalk somewhere as i found a folder with files that have the names of all of them, but they all seem to be non usable dummy files. Even adding an fxp extension doesnt make them work. for context, im referring to this drop-down menu Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
John Vere Posted May 5, 2023 Share Posted May 5, 2023 I’m pretty sure that the pre sets for any 3rd party effects and instruments are stored in a folder that belongs to the VST and has nothing to do with Cakewalk.
