Philip Jones Posted March 27, 2023 Share Posted March 27, 2023 (edited) Since the last update, when I try to export (mixdown) to MP3, I get a popup window:- 'The MP3 encoder must be unlocked before use. Please visit www.cakewalk.com to upgrade the encoder or to purchase a new encoder", so, what I have been doing is to export (mixdown) to WAV, then importing the WAV to Audacity, then export to MP3, but I would rather like to export to MP3 from within CbB. msmcleod Posted March 28, 2023 Share Posted March 28, 2023 Sounds like you've installed an earlier version of Sonar after you installed Cakewalk by BandLab. Uninstalling/Re-installing Cakewalk should solve this. Doing this won't remove any of your settings. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
