0 John Vere Posted November 9, 2021 Share Posted November 9, 2021 I think it’s a mistake to set the default for first time users with a basic workspace.  In every tutorial I make I have to start with “ Make sure to use the Advanced Workspace so you will have all the options “. Otherwise how can I demonstrate an important feature when they are sitting there scratching their head wondering why my screen looks different than theirs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

0 John Vere Posted November 10, 2021 Share Posted November 10, 2021 Funny thing is there's a thread I just read where the OP is mad about the Basic workspace complaining there's way too much stuff still?? Sorry folks, Cakewalk has a lot of stuff. If you don't like that then use Garage Band. I use a lot of software that has a zillion menus.
