  1. Please chip in on this everybody! It's not that much money for most of it, Fluffy Audio is a great company, so I'm sure it's a great piano. If you don't have the money, please pass the listing on to other forums. Thanks, Reid
  2. Some of you may know that Fluffy Audio is based in Lombardy, the area that is most hard hit by the Coronavirus in Italy. If you've seen the movie "Call Me By Your Name," you've seen how beautiful it is there. They are having a special on their first library, My Piano to raise money. 10 USD/EURO (normally $69) You need Full Kontakt. All the money raised will be weekly sent to the Lombardy region to fund initiatives like opening new departments of the local hospitals and hire extra medical staff. Get it HERE They will update the amount sent on this page every week There are special and unique controls for different parts of the piano, for the internal resonances, pedal sound and there’s even a knob to put some random noises into the recording. The samples were taken with AudioTechnica AT4060 tube microphones, with NEVE preamps, to ensure the highest quality and warmth. The pedal resonances are handled separately, as well as the overtones and the body resonance of the piano, to allow the user to have a complete control over the piano sound. Version 1.1 includes some fixes, a couple of Sound Design patches and some variations over the “main” basic patch with different perspectives – including the intimate patch used in Layers of Beauty demo.
  3. Komplete Ultimate 13 will come out this fall. There will be some great deals on it from Time+Space and other dealers. But the best deal will be half price in the summer of 2021.
  4. Very frustrating. After several tries, I still can't make the thing work. I have no issues making Native Access install other libraries. Anybody have any ideas for me? Never mind! The answer was to update to the latest version of Kontakt. I wasted all this time making the video! Anyway, for all of you, this won't work unless you have Kontakt 6.2.2.
  5. Yes, it works for me now too. 😁 Purchased and can't wait to download!
  6. I couldn't create a ticket for Support (I kept going around in circles) so I went on the forum. They have a post announcing it, so I put my comment in there. Why don't you do the same? Thanks! If you haven't used the NI forum before, you need to set up a separate password from the regular NI one.
  7. It's $49 for an upgrade, but it says "None of the qualifying products are registered to your account " Maybe having Komplete 12 Ultimate doesn't count? You need to buy Electric Sunburst by itself. I'm going to check in with them, because I would get it for $49, but otherwise I will wait.
  8. $149. $49 for upgrade. Essentially this has everything that the original Electric Sunburst has plus a second, playable lead guitar melodic instrument, additional patterns, and a full set of pedals, including Replika and a lot of stuff derived from the Modpack series--chorus, flanger, phaser, etc. Lots of sound presets, a la OTS guitars. It has 237 patterns and 51 songs. The original had 154 patterns One thing they don't mention in the video is that it has all the cool voicings from Picked Acoustic, which is my favorite thing about that VI. More info HERE
  9. @Peter - IK Multimedia In every case I remember, when I try to upgrade an IK Multimedia product it comes with a download of the "Installation/Authorization Manual," which says nothing about upgrades. It tells you what you need to do for an original install. So basically I am on my own with upgrades. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Very few people would have a problem if IK would supply a very detailed step-by-step "Readme file that is tailored to the specific upgrade. Maybe you could name this file--"Read before installing." Or even better, as many companies do, create an installation video. Please recommend this. If IK provided a readme file or a link to a video, I doubt many people would have issues. This would cut down the work for the customer service staff and would generate a lot of customer goodwill. In my case, I followed exactly the way I installed all the other instruments in SampleTank MAX. Then I rescanned the directory. The new instruments (easy to see in the new folder) didn't appear. So I tried an install into a different directory. Now I have two installs in different folders that both don't work. I think if I manually moved all the instruments and samples one by one into the correct folders, it might work, but it's frankly not worth it to me. I'm just going to delete them all and hope that everything will still work without them. I do have 4.1 installed now, but clicking the shopping cart sends me to the web page, not to any Custom Shop. The old Custom Shop application includes SampleTank, just not the new instruments.
  10. As people are very mature on this forum, I was wondering how big a a bang you have gotten out of VSL's ERID A.N.U.S. Anybody let loose with it yet? I hear it's explosive.
  11. I've had my eye on the new Falcon expansion, Voklm. To my knowledge, it's the first one that has vocals, although they sound like Synth Vox vocals. Still I think this particular expansion will add something new to my Falcon toolkit. I love making pads with Falcon, and this will be useful. $27 during this sale.
  12. Over $10 lower than current JRRShop. But don't forget that all ujam was 50% off during Black Friday and they had Hustle for $9.99. I missed out on one of the beatmakers as a PluginBoutique freebie, something I am kicking myself about today. I wasn't as into ujam in those days.
  13. Hopefully there will be a lot of demos before the intro price ends. Strezov does awesome stuff, but I'd still like to hear it before buying. Particularly as the price ends before there are reviews from outsiders.
  14. I was expecting a more wide-ranging Asian library, but this is mainly Chinese, with a secondary accent on Mongolian instruments. There is a Shakuhachi and a Vietnamese instrument, the Đàn nhị The main idea of this seems to have been to have the most Chinese instruments ever, and there definitely are some rarities for virtual instruments. But even so, there's no Bawu, my favorite Chinese bamboo flute. I want it, but it's a lot of money...
  15. It's now available for pre-order for 349€ (excl. VAT) until April 27th, after which it will be 479 euros. Additional Crossgrade discounts from BALKAN Ethnic Orchestra and Rhodope 2 Ethnic Bulgarian Choir are available upon login. I have BEO and my price is 300 euros. More info, including a full instrument list is HERE The biggest collection of Chinese and Mongolian virtual instruments out there. A unique and breathtaking collection featuring some of the best Chinese musicians recorded in their country with state of the art equipment and and a deep sampling approach with up to 4 dynamic layers. An Ethnic Chinese Orchestra, Percussion Section, two Choirs and more all in one package. Note: I don't see anything on the site about Kontakt, but Balkan Ethnic Orchestra runs in the Player and has NKS, so it seems likely that this will as well. Their copy: After the journey of a lifetime we are proud to present our biggest collection of virtual instruments to date: JADE Ethnic Orchestra. We learned so much about ethnic instruments when we sampled Balkan Ethnic Orchestra in 2017. After spending three years refining our sampling process Strezov Sampling finally brings to you the next product in our Ethnic series. Being inspired by the special sound of Chinese instruments and Mongolian singers we decided it's hightime to create an inspiring instrument in that area filling a huge gap in today's virtual instrument landscape. Comprised of over 50 instruments spread across more than 100 instrument patches, Jade Ethnic Orchestra gives you the option to choose between multiple categories, such as Bowed Strings Ensembles, Bowed Strings Solo, Plucked Strings, Voices, Woodwinds, Percussion (based on our X3M engine) and stemmed out sound-designed pads created especially for the library by Lyubomir Goshev. The library was co-produced by composer and multiinstrumentalists Seth Tsui, who conducted and recorded the sessions in Beijing, China. JADE Ethnic Orchestra is a huge collection of Asian ethnic instruments. Most of the sampled instruments originate from China, but along with them we have included others, like the Hoomai men choir, the Mongolian Longsong Quartet, Moorin-Khuur, the Shakuhachi and many others Asia is to be proud of. A detailed list of the library's content, a thorough description of the instruments and other technical info can be found at the end of this manual. 17. If you used cloning software to create new disks for your new computer, would that work? If your new computer a was a perfect replica of the old one?
  18. How is it better than Loom I? I remember liking the original Loom, but used it so little that I haven't got around to installing it in my new computer yet. I'm going to do it today.
  19. I don't know if they have officially announced this because they have sent out the usual video, but they have a web page HERE Apex is a very special discount and competition. Spitfire Studio Strings Professional and Spitfire Studio Strings are half price for a limited time only. The upgrade is also 50% off. The offer will run from the afternoon of Thursday 12th March until 11.59PM (GMT) Friday 13th March 2020. For the record, Spitfire Studio Strings lists for $249 so this is $125. It was $150 on release, and that's what it will cost you during the Wish List Sale. This is a kind of a one-day $25 off sale for the regular version. The Pro version is $499, so you'd save $50 on that - $250 as opposed to the $299 in the Wish List. The competition involves guessing where on Earth Christian is in the videos they release, for a chance to win a Spitfire library of your choice along with some music gear.
  20. Brings back memories of my Lifetime Subscription to Sonar Platinum. ☹️
